I use the Rocket Sidewinders and love them. They have done the job for me everytime.

I hunt Highland county.

Went out this evening and sat in a stand I have'nt hunted this year yet. I put out a buck decoy and rattled a few times with no luck. Shortly after 6 a doe appeared on the opposite side of the field I was hunting. Once she spotted the decoy she fed her way to it. She fed all around the decoy and didn't want to leave, finally at about 10 minutes til 7 she started up a road that goes through the field, she got by some cedars next to it and I noticed legs coming through the cedars. This buck popped out and I immediately recognized him from trail cam pics I have of him. He immediately keyed in on the decoy and started walking directly toward him. I managed to get my bow off of my bow hanger and get turned around (I think I could have danced a jig up in my treestand and he would'nt have noticed, he was so keyed in on the decoy). He started walking stiff legged and circled behind the decoy offering me a 25yd. broadside shot. He never got out of the field before toppling over. This is my first buck since 2007.

Killed an 8 pt. this evening. He came into my decoy.

My buddy killed this 10 pointer at 6:45 pm on opening day. He shot it back and caught the liver, so we let him go over night and found him the next morning. There was no blood trail to follow so we just started doing a grid search heading toward a creek in the middle of the property and found him along the creek about 250-300 yards from where he shot him. I have all kinds of trail cam photos of this buck in velvet, and he was one of the biggest deer on our farm.

I have a 2010 Carnivore bow for sale. I have only shot the bow around 100 times. Included with the bow is a Flambeau hardshell case, 6 brand new Beman ICS Bowhunter arrows with 100 grain field tips, A new Tru-Fire Patriot caliper release, Diamond 5 arrow detachable quiver, Diamond stabilizer, Hostage arrow rest, Tru-Fire 3 pin sight. This is a 60 -70 pound bow , and the draw length can be adjusted from 26-31 (currently set at 29) I will take $500.00 for everything

I have an 03 S10 that the heat will not work in. The air conditioning works just fine but if you turn it to heat it just blows cold air. I have replaced the heater core, the thermostat (twice). Just had a new water pump and a new radiator put on. Anyone have any ideas what would cause this?

Season started on the 19th here, unfortunately I have started a new job so I won't have that much time to hunt, but I will get out as much as possible

Finally found a job and none to soon as my unemployment runs out at the end of the month. I got a job as a Corrections Officer. This whole process has taken over a year but I finally had the prison call today with the job offer. I would like to thank the big man upstairs and also Tim Andrus. I pm'd him when I was considering this job to ask him some questions and he got right back with me. So THANK YOU TIM.

My son killed this 5 pointer Saturday evening. This is his first deer in 2 years, because he didn't get to hunt last year due to having hip surgery. So to say the least he was very excited to get this one, and to see the excitement in him as the deer approached and him shooting it and dropping him in his tracks was more rewarding for me then if I had killed a monster myself.
