    Re: Best turkey ammunition? Without a doubt for the "all around" shell, Winchester XX Supreme Turkey loads #6 shot. Now with saying that, and take it one step farther, Hevi shot is the best on the planet! Someday they will produce a better load than Hevi shot, but i won't use it for saftey reasons.

    I shoot a 3" Remington 870 Exp. 12 Guage. I use Hevy Shot #5 with a M.A.D. #1012 Hevy Shot choke. This set up shoots so well, I will never try anthing else for turkeys..... gl
