I saw this picture on another forum. They were stating it might be the new non-typical state record. Heard rumors it was taken last weekend with a bow in the southern part of the state.

Re: Strangest injury?? Well here is mine. When I was around 10 years old, the neighborhood kids and I were in a wooded lot cutting saplings to make a bow. We ended up behind a body shop trying to put the strings on them. One of my buddies older brother came back there to see what we were doing. He took one of the sticks and said "lets see how hard I'am gonna be able to paddle when I'am a teacher?" (he was student teaching at the time). So he reached back and smacked that stick on an old car body. The stick broke, and pcs went everywhere. I was about 15ft away sitting on my bicycle, and 3 pcs of the wood went through my eyelid and stuck in my eye. The impact knocked me a couple of feet backwards off my bike onto the ground. My mom and aunt drove me 1 1/2hours to the nearest trama center. Had 6 months of plastic surgury, and ended up loosing 90 percent of my vision in my right eye. Good thing I shoot left handed, but that was about all the good that came out of it.

Re: STEP OUT OF THE CIRCLE....... I too have been a fan of Mathews for many years. Last year I got a great deal on a Pearson bow that I couldn't pass up. It was a brand new bow, but an older model. It was a diamondback VX. I could not belive how quite this bow was. Out of all the bows I have owned over the years, that pearson still has to be the most smooth and quite. Great company and great bows.
