  1. #'s 2 & 5 are now spoken for. New list will look like this once the funds are received..... 1.) OCC hat. I think this was on my head once. Apparently someone decided without me that I was an OCC fan lol. At any rate, hats sell new for $24.99 + shipping, so we'll say $15 TYD. 4.) Whitewater Outdoors Realtree Hardwoods HD Glommets. These are basically brand new as well. Took them in to the woods once and that was that. They're not waterproof but they do have 40 grams of Thinsulate. $12 TYD. 6.) Arm Guard in Advantage Camo. Used but plenty of life left. $5 TYD. If you buy the hat or the gloves and have a child getting in to archery or that is involved, the arm guard is free to ya!!!

  6. Bowhunter Missing: PLEASE READ (Ryan Hamre) We need everyones help here. Ryan Hamre, Associate Editor of Petersen's Bowhunting Magazine has been missing since Saturday morning the 17th in Rice, MN. Ryan is 24 years old, brownish/blonde hair, 6 foot tall and about 185 pounds. Ryan lives in Nisswa, MN and his parents live in Winona, MN which is where Ryan was expected to be going Saturday morning. Ryan never showed up in Winona and no one has heard from him since Friday night. I'm attaching a report that ran in the Winona Daily News. there's a chance Ryan might have changed his mind and headed North to an Ice Fishing festical in Walker, MN (leech lake sp?). Ryan drives a dark blue 4x4 Dakota Dodge with a white canopy. It's very uncharacteristic of Ryan, he loves working with the magazine and is family guy with a great relationship with his father, mother and two sisters. Please, anyone who lives in MN or happened to be in the Brainerd, Rice, Nisswa area this past week, if you happen to have some time, please keep an eye out for Ryan's Blue Dodge pickup or if you have any info, time to help looking, planes to help fly the area please contact the numbers listed here are some numbers to call: Nisswa Police Department at (218) 963-4301 or the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department at (218) 829-4749. also, here shortly we'll have a section on our webpage with pictures and updates on Ryan Hamre, please visit; www.bowhuntingmag.com Nisswa man missing Police seek Ryan Hamre, unseen since Saturday By MATT ERICKSON Staff Writer Nisswa police are looking for a 24-year-old man believed to be missing since Saturday. Police Chief Craig Taylor said Ryan Christoffer Hamre, of Nisswa, last talked to friends Friday, saying he planned to visit his parents in Winona over the weekend. Surveillance cameras recorded Hamre buying gasoline, oil and getting cash from an ATM at 5:53 a.m. Saturday at a Rice gas station. What happened to Hamre after he left the Rice gas station isn't known, Taylor said. He never arrived at his parents' Winona home and hasn't contacted family members or friends since Friday. "It's very uncharacteristic of Ryan to do something like this," said Ryan Hamre's mother, Pamela Hamre. "He never misses work. He loves his job. We've contacted every one of his friends. He has a lot of them, they have a kind of network, and no one has heard from him since Friday. It's very unusual." Pamela Hamre said her son didn't mention that he was coming to visit them in Winona this past weekend, but had left a message at their house on Friday. She said it wasn't unusual for Ryan Hamre to visit without calling first. Pamela Hamre also made a plea to the public to help find her son. Nisswa police received a missing person report Tuesday after Ryan Hamre failed to show up for work and his cell phone was found in a ditch along Highway 10 near Royalton. Taylor said foul play isn't suspected but family members said it was uncharacteristic for him to leave without telling anyone. "It's suspicious in that he's never done anything like this before," Taylor said. "Nobody's heard from him, not friends or family." Hamre is an associate editor at Petersen's Bowhunting magazine, which is a division of InterMedia, the parent company of In-Fisherman magazine. Patty Harrison, an employee with In-Fisherman, said Hamre had worked with the bowhunting magazine for about two years. She said Hamre gave no indication to InterMedia that he wouldn't be in to work on Tuesday. "He loves his job and it's unlike him to not call in and let either his parents or his employers know where he was," Harrison said Wednesday. "He's a very responsible young man." InterMedia employees Wednesday planned to place posters featuring photos and a description of Ryan Hamre throughout the Brainerd area. Hamre is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, weighing 175 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. He wears glasses and has a beard. He was driving a dark blue Dodge Dakota pickup and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a yellow polo shirt with stripes, blue jeans, black shoes and a gray baseball cap. Anyone with information is asked to call the Nisswa Police Department at (218) 963-4301 or the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department at (218) 829-4749. Thank you for taking the time to read this and please keep positive thoughts for our bowhunting brother.
  7. Re: Guess Who\'s Comin To Iowa..... Thanks fellas!!!
  8. Re: Bucknasty Bow Strings... If I decide to take the stock strings off of my Drenalin I'll be putting Bucknasty's on it. I had a pair on my Switchback and absolutely loved them. They're every bit as good as Winners Choice (which I had on my Outback & SQ2), only you don't pay for the name and packaging.
  9. To make a long story short, I did a very good deed on another web site and because of my actions I am being rewarded by the big man upstairs in a HUGE way. As it turns out, the fella I helped is very thankful, so thankful in fact that he has given me a FREE deer hunt with his outiftter service in Iowa, all I have to pay for is the tag
  10. Re: Re-did My set-up (pics) Nice looking bow my man

  13. Re: My Weapon of Choice For 2007....... [ QUOTE ] Did they have to trim the Limbsavers to make them fit on the new bow? Thats what weve been doing in the proshop i work at...i think i saw some mini limbsavers but i cant remember where. [/ QUOTE ] I actually trimmed the bases on the limb savers myself. A lot of people are buying the ones made for recurve bows because they fit perfectly, but with the smaller limb saver comes less vibration dampening, which is why I chose to go with the normal size limb savers and just trim the adhesive part a bit.
  14. Re: Got The Drenalin Set-Up Today [ QUOTE ] I shot one the other day, i was very dissapointed. It was loud and had hand shock. My switchback xt is much quieter, and almost no shock. Good luck with yours. [/ QUOTE ] Loud????? If it was loud, have your dealer put it back in to spec because the Drenalin is by no means loud. As for hand shock, it has a LITTLE bit more than the XT because it weighs a 1/2 lb. less, but slap an S-Coil on it and what little bit there is goes away. Best part of all, even though the site says it's only 5 fps faster than the XT, the average real world testing has shown it to be at least 10 fps on average. I'll take a little extra hand shock for that gain in speed any day
  15. Items were worn for one season and well taken care of. Not exactly sure how many times I used them but as I said, they are well taken care of and are in great shape. 1.)Cabela's Uninsulated Silent Weave Scent-Lok Jacket in Advantage Timber. Size is a 3XL Tall and fits a 54-56" chest (which is why I need to order so big). The front two snap buttons on the cargo pockets broke and I am sure they can be easily repaired, but aside from that this thing is in MINT condition and has plenty of hunting left in it. Retail in Cabela's is $110 shipped. 2.) Scent Blocker Plus UltraLite Series Pants in Advantage Timber. Cabela's sent me a 2XL size by mistake and since archery had already started I just roughed it out in them, but they are too big for me and I need to sell them. Again, these things are in MINT condition with plenty of hunting left in them. Retail from Cabela's is $152 shipped. 3.) Cabela's Scent-Lok Baseball Cap in Advantage Timber. One size fits all. Retail is $26 shipped. 4.) Whitewater Supprescent 3/4 Face Mask in Advantage Timber. Retail is $25 shipped. 5.) Advantage Timber Gloves. These are NOT Scent-Lok lined however. Only paid $6 for these so I don't plan to sell them separately lol, but they will be included in the set. 6.) Fieldline Fanny Pack finished in Advantage Timber. Retail in Cabela's is $15 shipped. Everything here would run you $335 brand new shipped to your door, but I will let it ALL go to your door for $235 shipped!!!!!! As usual, I would prefer paypal!
  16. Re: Got The Drenalin Set-Up Today [ QUOTE ] yea great bow....but those limbs cant take it.....its already blown up in a few peoples faces. [/ QUOTE ] You know, it's always good to have FACTS before you just start spreading rumors. Just because someone knew a guy, that knows a guy that use to shoot with this guy, and he said that they are blowing up everywhere.... that doesn't make it true. The only actualy confirmed picture with a breakage was due to the bo wbeing pressed wrong, and magically that bow hasn't even been turned in to Mathews for warranty work yet, hmmmmm.

  19. Re: FS: Mossy Oak Super Elite II Turkey Vest..... [ QUOTE ] I have the same vest... perfect for hiking up those steep ridges chasing longbeards... TTT [/ QUOTE ] Thanks for the bump!! I can't believe no one has snatched this up.
  20. Re: Extreme Sights I am on my second RT900 (sold first one with my Switchback) and I don't see myself switching anytime soon. The sight is incredibly strong, very light weight, very compact and best of all for hunters, it is incredibly simple. The pins on them are insanely bright and in all honesty, I'm not sure why they offer a sight light for it. As for the fibers, I have abused the heck out of them and I have managed to only break one of them. That being said, ANY fiber on the market would have broken in that situation. The RT900 IMO is the best bang for the buck sight on the market, if not the best sight period.
