  5. Re: kinetic energy The equation for KE = 1/2 (m*(v^2)) The constant of 450,240 is the conversion from meters/second to ft/sec and kilograms to grams. It is not truely part of the equation. It has become a "standard" template among bowhunters for an easier equation to work with.

  7. Re: BAR trigger is too tight [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I have never experienced a tight trigger on my browning bar. [/ QUOTE ] It's all in what you are used to. After a few months of shooting my varmint guns, a 3 pound trigger feels like a ton to me. Most of my varmint guns are under 1 pound. Some down to 2 ounces. Replying with my trigger feels fine to me, means nothing unless a weight is given. Weight can not be determined by feel by most shooters, it takes a scale to measure the pull. Also not all triggers feel the same. A 3 pound trigger that is crisp with zero slack feels like a 1 pound trigger to the untrained. I have had 1/2 pound triggers that sucked since they had so much creep. [/ QUOTE ] You just said that a trigger with the same pull weight feels different. Like I said, if it feels good to the shooter who cares what it feels like to others. If you can't quantify between two triggers with the same pull weight without pulling both of them it is useless information.

Why must he measure the pull?
