  12. Re: what do you guys use for cover sent? I had a bad accident with some Tinks Red Fox Urine, lol, so I try to just stick with carbon spray. I used White lightening for the first time this past weekend and I was completely satisfied, GREAT PRODUCT!
  13. Re: My Biggest Buck NICE, GOT PICS?
  14. Re: Velvet anyone? I had a lil 8 pointer come in to my stand on the 1st, and he was still in the velvet. But thats the only one I've seen in the last month or so. All the bucks on my cam are hard antlered deer
  15. Re: how do you cook your tender loins? Lil bit of Cavenders, lil' Head Country and thats it. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it
  16. Re: bad luck[again] Better luck next time! But don't feel too bad, I know a gut that did the same thing 3 or 4 years ago. He too was mad, but now its just another deer camp joke. I also know I guy that shot a buck, then when he went to recover it, he noticed that it had a bright orange collar on. Yeah, it was somebody's lost pet. Oh well, they all taste the same,LOL!!!
  17. Re: OU vs. TEXAS [ QUOTE ] I'll probably eat my words....but I am gonna say you guys are nuts if you think Ou can possibly contain Texas.....They can't even handle TCU! Ya they beat a 3-0 Kansas St team......big whoop, thats just like Colorado beating OSU....big deal. They terrible! Go Texas! [/ QUOTE ] Oh, your one of those PRO-TX OKIES huh? Well pack it up and head on down there!
  18. Re: when it comes 2 arrows what do you use I've always shot Easton AXIS or EXCELS, but the next arrows I buy will GT XT 5575's
  19. Re: Check This Out! "Sampson" is a BRUISER!!!!!! NICE DEER!
  20. Re: What will he score? [ QUOTE ] With out seeing the back tines on the one side it is sort of hard to tell, but I would say in the mid to upper 130's, possibly low 140's. Nice looking mount. [/ QUOTE ] His right G2 is the same length as the smaller fork on his left G2, if that helps. What you can see of his right G2 in the pic is just a sticker pt
  21. This was the first true monster that we produced on the ranch that we hunt using the DMAP Program. This deer was shot during the 2003 Muzzle Loader Season in SE Oklahoma, but we never got it scored. Tell me what your best guess would be.
  22. Re: Opening Day Harvest Thanks to all! It was by far the most successful single outing in my hunting career....that also turned into the most gutting and manual labor of any one single day hunting. I had to load, clean and hang all three alone, and now I can honestly say that it will be a while until I attempt to take that many deer in a single day. Heres another pic I forgot to add
  23. Re: OU vs. TEXAS IT might be a long shot, but We've got a little something called SOONER MAGIC!!!! 35-31 OU!!!!!!!
  24. Re: Opening Day Harvest [ QUOTE ] Congrats. How many doe can you get in a season there in OK? [/ QUOTE ] We take part in a DMAP PROGRAM, and we are issued about 30 doe tags a year. We count deeer for a prolonged period of time, then the totals are sent in to the Wildlife Dept., and they use some formula to tell us how many deer we need to take. It has really been a good program for us, and the quality of bucks has risen dramaticly.
  25. I managed to take these 3 ladies on opening morning, in SE OKlahoma. Pretty Nice start to my 2005 Bow Season!
