Re: Looking for Michigan Youth Hunter Parent or guardian must accompany the hunter. We have a many local motels in the area. You are responsible for getting here, license, food and lodging. If you do not have a rifle, I have a youth model you can use. It’s a 243 savage, bolt action with a 3x9 scope. I will provide the ammo to go with the gun. This hunt is always on a weekend, 2 days only! Last year we hunted in the morning, then went to a different location (about 2 miles away) and stalked thru the woods. Then we ate lunch, to a break for awhile. Early afternoon we stalked the same area we did before lunch, and then went back to the shack. Don’t be surprised to see in excess of 50 deer in one day, yes I said 50+. I may get permission to hunt a few more areas this year. Rest up before you come out, because we will be hunting hard. Any questions, feel free to post them here. Picture of Shack will be Hunting out of. View from shack Another deer taken off property John

I am looking to take a Youth Hunter on the Michigan Youth Hunt this year 2006. You will be responsable for your own lodging, food, travel and must be with your parent. I have about 300 acres of prime Michigan Hunting available. Why? My daughter is now 20, I have taken several different youth hunters over the last several years. Now I would like to take someone who has never taken a deer. Please write me a p.m. with why you should be picked. Post what ever questions you may have. No cost involved just your food, travel and lodging. I have a youth model 243 available if you don't have a rifle. This will be a rifle hunt. Our youth hunt takes place before any other deer season in Michigan . Here is last year regulations. I will post this years when they come up. Ages 14-16 can rifle hunt in Michigan. I will be taking p.m.'s until some time in August of 2006. At that point we will post the winner. And post the details of the hunt and results after we are done. Last years hunter got a nice 8 point, and on the first day we had seen around 51 deer! Here is a picture of last years youth hunter. 2004 youth picture 2000 youth picture 2005 Youth Firearm Deer Season There is a youth firearm deer season on September 24-25, 2005 on all lands in Michigan. Youths 12-16 years of age may take one deer during this special two-day season or one antlerless deer if the youth obtained an antlerless license or possesses a DMU permit. Youths 12 and 13 years of age cannot hunt deer with a firearm and are restricted to archery-only hunting with a combination or antlerless license. A deer license authorizing the youth to take a deer with a firearm (regular, combination,) including antlerless license, or DMA permits, may be used if issued for the area/land upon which hunting. The youth must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age or older. An adult accompanying a youth firearm deer hunter cannot possess or carry a firearm or bow and arrow and does not need a deer hunting license. Hunters may not use bait during this season. All youth hunters are required to wear Hunter Orange. Archery licenses are not valid during this season. 2005 a nice 8 point was taken, 2004 a 3 point & a 6 point were taken. The hunt will take place on private lands. Location is in Northern Lower 18 miles south of the bridge. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from everyone. Re: Have 2 rifles need value on. I sent you a pm, but it's not showing that it was sent. If you did not get it let me know and I can e-mail the information to you.

Not nascar, and far from it. This is my round e round car I ran last year. It has a 480 h.p. engine and one the championship race for 2005. The class is the bombers, bumping goes. So your car can get a little beat up. It's fun!

Protected Wildlife Eagles, hawks, owls, swans, spruce grouse, wolves, lynx, moose, cougars, cub bears, and sows accompanied by cubs, and all white or albino deer may not be taken at any time. All nongame birds are protected, except starlings, English sparrows and feral pigeons. Certain exotic cervids (members of the deer and elk family) found outside of a fence of a registered cervidae facility for more than 12 hours may be taken by hunting year-round. Please contact the nearest DNR Operations Service Center for further information. In the search box type- Protected Wildlife

I shot a piebald deer ion Michigan, no big secret. My question is, the internet says there are 13 states that outlaw shooting of white/albino deer. Michigan being one of them. My opinion is that this law is crap, and based on emotion and not fact. Does your state have laws to protect white/albino deer? Whats your opinion? Michigan - Yes
