LOL! Canadians. Oh wait, I'll be one very soon. hehehe! BUT, I will be drinking Farmers like Lewis posted. The only time I've ever seen milk bags like that were in school. We had the miniature versions of them for when they served breakfast or lunch. We had a straw with a sharp end on it, and would punch it into the air bubble in the bag. After drinking all of the milk out of them, we'd blow them up full of air, drop them under the table and stomp on them, scaring the crap out of the teacher. LOL.

Nice pics! Wish I could get a shot at those canvasbacks and geese. -
That's one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. LOL.

Get this one..... the company I worked at for over 4 years one day up and decided that NOBODY was allowed to back in and if you did, they would find you in the building and ask you to turn it around. They said it didn't look "professional". I used to back in every day, but it was on a gravel lot, with no lines, and I drove a lowered Neon. 80% of the other people who worked there drove SUV's that I could not see around so backing in was the safest thing for me to do, especially with tractor trailers driving in and out of there all day long to our shipping docks. ANYWAY, after that "rule" was put into effect one of the guys I worked with on day shift, was backing out of his parking spot, and got the back end of his car taken off by a tractor trailer. Neither driver of the car or tractor trailer saw each other, and even after hitting the car, the tractor trailer kept going. I know what you're saying though Jeramie, I get SO annoyed with people that feel they must back into a spot at Walmart or any other place such as that. Especially!!! if they are going DOWN an UP aisle, trying to back into a spot or vice versa.

Think he would let me try it out sometime? LOL!

Ditto what everyone else said about the exhaust vent! This happened to ours a little over a year ago and it was almost clogged full! Speaking of dryers, ours finally gave up last week. Motor seized up on it. Was gonna cost $200 to replace the motor, so we just bought a new one for just under $400.

LOL! Exactly! Very adorable little guy you have there! I'm sure you are one proud Poppa!

Why didn't you try to do lemon law on your Ford? I have an '07 Tacoma with 12,000 miles on it.... and while it's a good running/driving truck.... the rear window has leaked on it every time it rained last year. I took it back to the dealership many times and I would always get a different story. Yes it's leaking, we fixed it, yes we fixed it again, we can't find a leak...... blah blah blah. I got a lawyer and had him threaten the lemon law on them and they "fixed it" one more time. If the truck leaks again before November of this year, the lemon law will go through on it. SO, not sure if you're better off going this route either. Cody - Sorry for hijacking your thread. Are you talking about the Neon? or is this a different vehicle? Perhaps you should seriously talk it over with your parents and think about what Steve said. If you could afford it, then go for it, IMO.

Glad to see you here on RT! Hopefully Justin and I get a chance to meet up with you sometime in the future for a hunt! It would be really nice to go hunting with another female for once! LOL! Anyway, the people on here are EXTREMELY nice and are willing to answer any questions you have, whether it be about hunting, fishing, or everyday life! Feel free to hit me up on MSN anytime you like!

Welcome to RT! Glad to hear you are getting to go hunting! We need more female hunters out there to show the guys how it's done. Cabelas, Bass Pro, and Gander Mountain all carry hunting clothes for women. You COULD wear your husbands clothes but guys clothes fit differently on us ladies, for example.. no room for hips, thighs, chest..etc. LOL. My main word of advice is to get familiar with whatever shotgun you plan on taking hunting. If you haven't shot many guns, start out with something small and work your way up to bigger guns. The last thing you want is to be scared of the gun you are shooting. You should feel confident with it. Be sure to keep us updated! I'm looking forward to hearing your stories already!

A few years back I had lost 90 pounds but unfortunately in the past year and a half I have found 30 pounds of it again. I'm getting married in June so I need to lose weight. I don't consider it "going on a diet" or "dieting" because to me, I'm setting myself up for failure. I simply cut down on my portions and watch what I eat. I stopped drinking pop/soda over 4 years ago, so that's not even an issue. I only drink skim milk, water, and rarely orange juice. In doing what I said above, along with going for a short brisk walk each day, I've already lost 3-4 pounds in only a week. It can be done.. just have to stick with it. My fiance (total disaster here on RT) has made me a $100 bet on my weight loss which is even more of an incentive to drop the pounds. Good luck to all of you! We should have a thread of some sort to post our progress!

As Lewis said, this is a really good movie! Something different! It was 3 hours long, but worth sitting through every minute of it. It never lost my attention, which is rare with movies these days! Definitely worth seeing!

Love the picture of the red breasted nuthatch. We had a pair of them here the past two years but haven't seen them this year. Quite a few white breasted nuthatches around though. I have a bird feeder almost identical to that one, it keeps the squirrels away quite nicely. Love the pics of the fawns too. Gotta love those little guys and gals.

In previous years it was UNREAL how many ATV deaths there were here in West Virginia each year. The terrain is pretty dangerous and not something to toy with, depending where you are. I know from experience. I rolled my suzuki z250 over the side of a mountain that was almost straight up and down and the only thing that cushioned my fall was BRIARS! My wheeler rolled on top of me, almost breaking my left leg and I also have permanent bruising on my right calf which I commonly refer to as my "dent". I was wearing my helmet, which I swear saved my life. My wheeler rolled 4 or 5 times down the mountain and somehow landed on all four tires, and only suffered broken clips on the plastics and a $130 part for the steering shaft. Be CAREFUL on those things, they can kill you in the blink of an eye no matter how great of a rider you think you are.

Love the black and white pics of you and your buck! Very nice! Welcome to the forum! We need more women around here to keep all the men in line. We need all the help we can get! LOL

What a monster. Great buck!

Mike, if you have the money, then shoot for your dream! I was just talking to my sister this evening about college, and she said there is a man at her University that is in his late 70's or early 80's and he is a student there. So that alone is proof that you can never be too old to go back to school! Good luck!
