Re: Guide Gear brand..... I've bought footwear from them and after a year some of the stiching "broke". I returned the item and a few days later had a new pair sitting at my doorstep, no questions asked. I have been very happy with items bought from them. Granted, there has been the occasional dud. But I just returned them for credit or my money back, again, no questions.

Re: What brand of trail cam should I buy? The Sportsmans Guide has a Guid Gear brand 2.0 digital. For around $240 you can get two cameras. I've got a couple and they take great pics and are easy to operate.

Re: Proper way to field dress deer The best video I've seen for gutting a deer was on an episode of Spirit of the Wild. The Nuge gutted a doe. Basically, he did what was mentioned above. He cut the doe from anus to throat with a gut hook knife, reached in and cut the esophogus, cut around the anus, and everything pretty much just fell out.

Re: gloves? Never done it without gloves. Cleanup is much much easier...just pull them off and your hands are clean! (most of the time anyways)
