Re: Opening day in Oklahoma(pics)
They are fun to shoot but can be a pain to clean. The birds were flyin good that day. I'm the big 1 in the pic. This one group of ringnecks had about 5 birds in the group and they would fly by and start to put the landing gears down and we would nail 1 or 2 each time and the kept coming back and trying to land and we were trying to reload until we killed the group.
Re: What do you have for tires on your 4X4 truck.
Kelly Safari MSR had Bigfoots ATs on it when I got it and HATE bigfoot tires, had a flat every other week with them.
Re: Air Gun?
I have shot a couple of the high power ones from gamo and remington. They were both good guns and the one thing I did notice is they were a lot louder than I expected. My guess of effecitve range with head shots would be max of 50 to 60 yards. They are a ton of fun to shoot around with!
My buddy came back from college on fall break and stoped by the house and asked if I wanted to go huntin out at his place. On the way there I talked him out of sitting in the stand I sat in. We got there about 4:30 and I got in the stand at 4:45 and I was in the middle of pulling my bow and pack up and out come 3 does 35 yards away, so I stop and they walk about 10 yards from me and jump the fence. Around 6:30 I start to see deer up on the ridge 60 yards. 6:50 I see a buck 30 yards away in the timber so I get my bow up and he comes out in the open 15 yards away perfecylt broadside and then the 4 blade muzzy 100 grain his its mark double lung shot he went maybe 30 yards. He was a 7 when I shot him but he ran into a tree so he is a 6 and dressed out at 120. Sorry no pics I don't and a digital camera.
Re: Motion Decoys - Un Sportsman Like Conduct??
I feel that by the time they have made it all the way to Oklahoma they have seen lots of motion decoys that they will start to wise up and maybe shy away from it.
Re: New shotgun opinions
I love my 11-87! I have had it for a little over 5 years now and not had 1 problem with it. I think it is a great gun for the money. Just go to the gun shop and see which one you like best.
Re: Home schooling?
My friends cousin was home schooled and when he gets around people he doesn't know he just doesn't really know how to interact and go and start up a conversation. So I would say NO to home schooling. I'm not saying all home schooled kids are like that just the ones I have been around.
