Re: i have a decision to make i need input true i have had some luck on new spots also the first time i hunted it. I had this one tree i hunted all the time because i took several deer from it till one day it dried up on me. i think they got wise to my ambush spot, you could set your watch by these deer . Perhaps i over hunted it too. I moved on and so should you maybe revisit that spot at a later time

Re: trophy buck hunters I would like to become a trophy hunter but am not sure if i can. I get so excited to see deer, then when they are under my stand its like automatic that I start thinking about can i get a shot? next thing you know im flinging arrows, or tring to anyway, every year i start out im not taking anything less than...blah blah blah. Then i dont see anything for a day or two then a 5 pointer walks up and next thing i know im putting my tag on him. I will try next year but I think im having fun tring to get there trophy hunter that is. I still think any deer with a bow is a trophy for me
