My week in Illinois turned out to be another successful one this year. (Nov 5-9) Some of you may remember the buck I was fortunate enough to take last year
Well this year was a little more stressful. It came down to the last half hour of the last evening, after a long week of tough hunting, and here came a buck which I passed on last year as a 3 year old 130" 8 point, but now is a 13 point. Needless to say he got the muzzy. The buck was nicknamed chocolate after the sighting of him last year and seeing his dark horns. This is how I know its the same buck. The horns dont' look dark in the picture because of the flash. He ended up scoring 145 3/8 By the way I didnt't get the full body mount back yet of my buck from last year, thats why you haven;t seen pics yet.
