Between predators and the rains we keep getting every spring the turkey numbers on my farm are WAY down from past years. For example I dump buckets of corn every week on 3 or 4 different spots of my farm. I did not get one turkey picture at any of those locations this fall. And I have only saw 5 turkeys all winter while shed hunting.........Yeah I am a bit worried.

I think I'm going to STOP taking my camera along......last couple trips out WITH my camera I have not found any sheds......LOL

I agree.....A few years back we had a cudde stolen. As you said password prevented them from using the camera. But like Alan said I am sure they were caught and knew it so they wanted to destroy the evidence. SUCKS for sure.....Sorry man!!

From a business stand point it makes sense to only allow your photos work.......But it would also make sense to sell the software and allow all photos to work.....is what it is. Oh trust me I want one......Watching growingdeer.tv has sold me on how great they are......but that price is crazy......Maybe one day I will just take the plunge and buy one

Found another small one over the weekend.......it was hanging by is brow tine off the ground.....kinda cool. However it was raining so I again didn't have my camera so I didn't get a good pic. So I am up to 4. Hopefully I can find some of the bigger/better sheds that I know are around..... Anyone else having any luck?

I did email reconyx after I made this post.....however I haven't heard anything back yet..... As for the buckspy people I think they are either going out of business or having serious problems......There site still says they are under server maintenance Curiosity here....but why won't other pictures work with the hitlist or x-pattern features? Any idea??

Not sure how precise the call needs to be.......My kids have been out playing with owl calls before and had turkey gobble back and or other owls hoot back at them. As for turkeys its the startling noise that gets them to gobble. SO I think you "could" make any loud shocking noise and they would/could gobble...... The owl is just a more natural sound to the woods first thing in the early morning Good luck
