Hello everybody, almost didn't make the cut off this year. I haven't been on here alot lately, as me and my wife welcomed a new little bundle of joy in July. Getting pumped already for deer season!

Get my dad a nice buck! I am not sure what my goal's are this year, new baby at home, I have a full week off for deer hunting, but I don't see myself being too far from him for any large period of time. Will only hunt the property close to home. See LOTS of deer, they are big in body, however the antlers don't grow quite as big as up North.

Hey everybody a few months ago I asked for prayers for my wife and unborn child, well I am happy to announce that My son was Born On July 17th 2008, Mom and Baby are doing great!!!!!! Trying to get used to fatherhood, and haven't had much sleep around here lately so I haven't been on the computer much lately!!!! I'll try to get on here a little more now that we are starting to get into some routines!

Well I hate to say it, but my season is done, and I have finished turkeyless! I would like to appologize to my teammates for not being able to get one. I have to say this has been one of the most frustrating seasons, in a while. I quess if it was too easy to get one every year, I wouldn't love turkey hunting so much. Again Sorry, Hopefully I can be teamamtes with a few of you in the deer contest and I can put a nice buck on the board. I have to admit this is one reason I have not enetered the Turkey contest before was out of fear of not being able to help my teamates!

Congrats everybody! Well I went out on Opening day (friday) and Saturday. Had a couple gobblers responding to our calls, but they would not come onto our property and leave their hens. Will be hunting some nights this week after work and will be back out on the weekend! My father is heading out to look at our other property some more as we know there are turkeys near there just not sure if they are roosting on the property or not, if they are we might try out there a couple nights this week as well.

Yup, it's bad, I beleive its called turkeyitis.:D There is no cure, the only relief, is temporary, and that is to get out there and shoot one! Good Luck!!!!!!!!
