Season opens Saturday, the weather has cooled, and I have the first week of the season off. Hopefully something will come my way.

I had a 25-06 and it worked great on deer, I don't think I would try moose with it. They don't recommend anything smaller than 130 grain bullet weight for moose.

I don't think they will go undefeated because if they clinch the division early they will probably rest most of the starters before the play-offs begin.

I went from a Remington 700BDL in 25-06 to an A-Bolt in 30-06 because I thought it would be better for all around hunting, but only got 2" groups. I ended up getting a Tikka in 270, and that is the best shooting most accurate firearm I have ever owned or shot for that matter.

That stinks, maybe you should check with your neighbors and see if they have seen any vehicles parked in the area.

Mounts should be ok, I had to remove my rear sight to mount my scope the mounts are so low. Have a Nikon 3x9x40
