Even though I don't think I personaly know the person that gave me the lovely birthday wish... maybe I do I don't get on here much so I am not to firmilar with all the "code names" so.... haha. But thank you all again for the birthday wishes even though as I said i am probably not firmilar with most of you.... it the thought that counts.

I like to play softball. I am on my school team and I guess that I am pretty good at it. I play left field which I don't not like to much but I still put 110% of my effort in where ever the coach puts me.

Hey guys!!! Well today was the first day of kids turkey in Pennsylvania and so my daddy and I went out and went hunting for some tukeys. We had roosted a turkey the night before so this morning we went to were it was. We got in the woods at about 5:30 and waited for about 20 miuntes and the turkey that we had roosted the night before started to gobble, also 3 more. So my dad called back one time. All the turkeys called back. Then the turkey that we roosted the night before about 10 minutes later came down out of the tree and landed to our right. I pulled my hammer back and as it walked right in front of us about 20 yards I fired and I MISSED!!! I was very flustered by that because I am usually a very good shot when it comes to hunting. So I shook it off and put another shell in my gun. About 3 minutes later another turkey came down about 25 yards in front of me and was walking away from me so I once again pulled back my hammer and shot I MISSED AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By this time I was so dissapointed it is beyond belief!!!!! So then we packed up and moved to another place for about an hour were we heard nothing and saw nothing. So then my dad said we should go back to were we came from so about 50 yards from the field we heard a gobble. We sat down at the nearest tree and called for about 30 minutes and it would not come and it was my brothers turn to go out so we packed up and went home. SO SORRY YOU GUYS!!!!!! I am so embarassed to tell this story it is not even funny! Maybe next weekend???????

Re: TURKEY TEAM #3 Our team name sounds pretty awesome!!! My turkey season starts Apirl 21 that is youth day then the regular season starts on April 28 i have a while to go.

Re: Are girls or boys better hunters???? Well it could go either way. I am a girl and I say that we are just as good as boys at some things. Boys are probably more into gutting the deer and going through thick brush but I think girls could be better at some things too. Like they could be into looking around at nature and just enjoying the sunrise. So as I said it could go either way!!!!
