Re: Hunting In Illinois Last year when i hunted Pike Co. I set up a doe decoy in a cornfield and called in a nice buck and when he saw the decoy he took off.....During the Rut i try to hunt the does cause if u find does theres gotta be a buck around somewhere

well i finally got my first deer w/ my bow and my first buck...hes not as big as i wanted but it will work....I was set up w/ a trail that Y's i front of me a creek to my right and a fourwheller trail to my left....I got up in my tree at 3 pm and at 5 i hear a guy that was hunting close to me start rattling and then out of nowhere this buck came running past me rite to him and 10 minutes later i decided to try out my buck growl and he came running back torwards me and he stopped right in front of me at 10 yards and i shot him and he ran 60 yards....sorry about the pic butwe forgot are camera up here so we had to wait to take pics -Andrew

Re: rifle shots during archery season i went out this morning and all i heard were gun shots....but today was opening duck and goose season could that be it?...im kinda used to gunshots while hunting because we live by National Guard

Well saturday morning 3 of my friends were driving and ended up hitting a tree. The driver and one of the passangers were unconicous and the other one climbed out the back window.... The ambulance got there and it took them 1 1/2 hours to cut the roof off of the truck to get them out of it... The driver was life-flighted to Loyola hospital he was in induced acoma (sp?) cause he was thrashing around when they were trying to get him in the helicopter he got home last nite and only has a concussion....The other passanger got a broken leg and is still in the hospital and needs to have surgery on his leg.... The kid that climbed out of the truck has cuts bruises everywhere....The scary thing is they called me a 1/2 hour before this happened to see if i wanted to go... and when i say these are my friends.. i mean they are my closest friends... so if u could please pray for Daivd(driver) Justin & Zach (passangers) Andrew
