Re: Diaphragm call care honestly i tend to just throw them away every year or loose them hunting leave thim in my vest or something to that sort most the time by the next year im trying something diffrent any way so i couldnt tell you much about long term care i just keep a tooth pick between mine during season and let air dry time to time

Re: What is your turkey gun setup??? i have several that i use depending on the mood of the day. i have a over and under 223/12 gauge with a leupold 3x9x40vari-x ll winchester 1300 turkey12 guage has all the nwtf ingravings on it no scope all though its factory tapped for a scope a tikka 223 had the whole gun sent off and camo dipped looks sharp with a leupold 6x18x40AO vari-x ll my father in law bought me a weatherby orion over under 12 gauge for xmas this year might try it on a turkey in ammo i use 223 55 grain hollow points and in shot gun i havent decide this year thinking of trying something new this year maybe those heavy loads

Re: Anyone do their own taxidermy??? i use to me and my cousion did it for several years just mamels never tried a fish or bird mainly deer we just kinda got out of it all togther everbody was wanting something just burned us out i think that and family and work i think im going to start back this year if i can manage to pick up some tools this summer all my friends complain when ever they take something to the taxidermst about the price i tell them theyve never had to put up with the trouble its worth every penny they get

Re: Is This Baiting? go to" www.wvdnr .gov" to find out i would make sure beacuse it can carrie a hefety fine in our state i know of a few boys a couple a years ago that got caught feeding turkeys but they were hunting over the bait and the dnr officers were hideing in there blinds the first morning of season never the less the dnr officers told me they were quite shocked to find them there he said he was setting in ones chair befofe day lite and he almost set on him
