  1. There is a lot I could live without, however I require a modern bathroom. Not to mention, I can't handle smelling someone at a local WalMart, I couldn't live with people who hadn't showered, shaved and put on deodorant.
  2. Sounds like you all are having a great time. If you don't mind me asking Mike, where are you all camping at? We are looking to get out camping the next few weeks and can't decide where to go her in central Iowa. Sounds like you are having great fishing, therefore I am VERY interested. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
  3. I just got into hunting a little over 5 years ago. I have been fishing my whole life. I love bass fishing, but will fish for anything.
  4. I am considering one myself. I have seen them at Sportsmen's warehouse here in Iowa.
  5. I personally eat any type of ice cream, as I have a major weakness for it. My all time favorite is Orange Serbert.
  6. Thank you for the information baylor06. I will get a card and such out this weekend.

    Waxing

Re: Waxing I can't ever get to the stage for waxing. Stubble drives me nuts let alone growing out hair.
  12. Re: Lunch time During the week when I am at work, I typically pack anything don't need cooled/cooked and I can eat quickly at my desk...Grapes, popcorn, peanuts, etc. I use my lunch time to workout so I don't have time to microwave anything or go to the cafeterias.
  13. Re: Shave your head? Yes, I would shave my head for a million dollars, but I would be investing in some wigs.
  14. Re: Got the hair cut [ QUOTE ] bowtec has a good remedy for lice removal. but, it you're too poor for a jar of mayo or a bottle of nix, here's another plan. shave 1/2 of your head bald. then, set the other 1/2 on fire. as the lice run into the open filed, stab then with an ice pic. or, maybe just use nix....lol [/ QUOTE ] Thats harsh, but funny. Our youngest had an issue with lice a few years ago. She was allergic to Nix and most of the lice shampoo, so we couldn't properly use the shampoos. Our doctor told us the mayo trick and then suggested that as long as our girls were in elementary to wash their hair once a week as directed with Dermarest - Psoriasis shampoo. We haven't had an issue since.

    Boys' treehouse

Re: Boys\' treehouse Looks like it will be a nice treehouse....do you think your husband could send Steve blueprints? with all the post my wonderful husband has made lately, he will be needing a treehouse like this pretty soon.
  17. Re: another gardening question What about Azalea's? They do well is shaded areas and produce bright colors. My mother would always plant Lily of the Valley on the north side of our house. Not much color, but the white flower stands out against the dark green or burgundy plant.
  18. Re: Favorite Chore Mowing the grass! I also found myself enjoying shoveling this year.

    How clean?

Re: How clean? My house has a very very lived in look and it drives me CRAZY!!! I spend 80% of my time at home cleaning or complaining about something being out of place. My goal this past year is too learn to live with the family "mess"...It's harder then giving up my Pepsi.
  20. Re: UFC Matt Hughes? Oh I am SOOOOO jealous! I love watching him fight! I have noticed that most of the MMA and UFC fighters are huge supporters of the outdoors.
  21. Re: What\'s for supper? We had roast, cabbage and rolls. I made my daughters favorite dinner...only to remember Cas is the one gone this week. I better make it up to Sabrina tomorrow.
  22. Re: Gardening...? Loves to hunt458...When we had rabbits they loved fresh cabbage. I would plant some to go along with her carrots.

    Crazy

Re: Crazy [ QUOTE ] I can't really repeat here some of the more crazier things I've done. But let's just say...I learned my lesson. [/ QUOTE ] My thought exactly. I have bungee jumped - keep in mind I hate Heights. I love planes and as a tween I would sneak into the Rockwall Private Airport and look around the runway. I even went flying one afternoon with a complete stranger...I later learned he was a good friend of my grandfathers and he had asked permission prior to my flight. I still got in trouble.
  24. Re: Chick flicks [ QUOTE ] BTW BowtechsWife, did you really like The Lakehouse? I liked it until the end...which was kind of frustrating and I didn't really understand it. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, I liked the lakehouse. I love movies that keep you guessing and has many angles. Movies that can be taken in multiple ways. I watched it with a friend and my daughter...we each had a different theory on the ending. Which kept us discussing in for days and even lead to Cas and I watching it again.
  25. Re: Roadtrips season 4 [/ QUOTE ] WHAAA I was counting on you buying it for me ... what a rip off ... welp since you arent buying that for me get in the kitchen and finish them dishes Steve [/ QUOTE ] Hope you wasn't counting on me to stick around for another 13 years!!!!
