So apparently, for some reason, my computer signed me out a few months ago and of course goofy me forgot my password. i actually hunted on the Boykin Management area today. they let us dog hunt them twice a year, and found some absolute giant scrapes. In my opinion, some of the biggest deer in the state of alabama, and the southeast for that matter, are right there in Boykin. The hunting club im a member of backs up to this land, and we kill some monsters that come off of there. Its about 30 mins north of Mobile, so your only about 2 1/2 hours away from home. Cahaba river has some monsters, but so does Scotch up in Coffeville. Hope that helps. If ya want more info pm me

so today was alabamas gun opener,started off slow and cold. Well as the day went on and the temps warmed up, so did our drives. Well about 1:30, to make a long story short, after talkin to a guy who had just seen a big buck, i turned around to see an absolute giant for alabama crossin the road. After 5 shots from my benelli, i saw him go down in the brush. First hunt with my new gun too. Well, as we tracked it, even though blood was squirting out of him and looked like there was someone pourin the blood out, it stopped, stone cold. At the end of the day, i have no buck and no backstrap =[ I would love to go look for him 2mora, but being that my truck is broke down and had to bum a ride today, i cant. Im going to try to go and look asap as i get my truck fixed. Any ideas, suggestions on how/where i should look? I know he's hurt bad and that he's dead.

the primos makes a good one, so does gorilla. The gorilla one is cheaper, but the primos one is definently batter. The hunting show i work for owns both, and the primos is better. Although we dont use those for our real cameras, we do set our huntcams out on them, so they should hold the camera well. Plus the primos has a fluid head, which means its smoother than the gorilla

all the rage about Rage is true! Got to see one in action in ohio a couple weeks ago. Complete pass thru in she shoulder on a 285 lbs buck!! And went down in sight after seein that i had to put down the G5 striker, which is an amazing broadhead also. Iveseen it zip through 2 elk this year like there was nothing to it!!!

yeah, that my 5th sit in 7 days at that stand...i was busted last friday by a big 8 who had about a 9 in. kicker off his right beam. 23 yards and the velcro on my release pops lol So i am condemning that stand for a while...tommorow ill try something new

EVRYT​HING went wrong​.​.​.​ #1- a new membe​r in our club plant​ed a grass​ patch​,​ no joke here,​ about​ 25 yards​ from mine #​2-​my bow falls​ offa the pullu​p rope #3-( it aint even 4 ocloc​k yet)​.​.​.​.​by backp​ack falls​ off the tree hook becau​se God decid​es to send a a perso​naliz​ed hurri​cane to me, the wind was gusti​n like 40 mph #4-a mirac​le happe​ns.​.​.​.​I have deer.​.​.​IN RANGE​!​!​!​ But when i look at my arrow​,​ one of the fletc​hings​ are missi​ng,​ so in the proce​ss of nocki​ng up anoth​er arrow​,​ Lil Doe with her 2 fawns​ ( see trail​ cam pics 08-​09 =]) decid​e they wanna​ runn off and make a scene​ of thing​s.​ #5- so after​ about​ an hour,​ some more deer come throu​gh,​ i have my range​finde​r aroun​d my neck so i can check​ how far they are. Well,​ when i stand​ up, my range​finde​r strap​ decid​es TO BREAK​ and hit every​ godfo​rsake​n step on that ladde​r stand​.​ So by this time,​ its still​ plent​y light​ outsi​de,​ but i decid​ed to call it a day befor​e somet​hing else happe​ns.​ Ya gotta​ know when to hold em n know when to fold em.

i think he needed another year or two =] psh...if he aint a shooter, NOTHING is!
