So went down to the river in south west alabama and hunted on some core of engineer public land. While 2 other guys went on private land. So we had a bet on who could kill birds. Well I was with my buddy and heard 7 birds gobble and saw 5 hunters in boats. So we tryed to work these birds but they did not do what we wanted. So we where easing through the woods on a burm when we saw some wild pigs. So we thought BBQ. We then went after the hogs and where using mouth call to let each other know our location when i start to heer my buddy call and a hen calling at the same time. So I snuck way around getting my buddy where we set up on top of a burm. We ended up with 2 young toms coming in behind us. He eased around and shot one. Then I swung around and saw a tom standing there so I thought he missed and shot. (this might of happened in 30 sec) Well my buddy then shouted why you shot my bird. So I was completly confused and he ran down with me the and I practically tripped on his bird getting to mine. I fell over laughing cuss I thought we had shot the same bird. I was tickled pink for my first public bird. This was his first bird since 2002 when hes old hunting partner blew his knee off being a idiot with a 3 1/2" 12 guage at 4 steps. He swore he wouldnt turkey hunt again but Hes hooked again. I havnt killed one eaither since 05 because Ive been calling for freinds family and kids. I want forget this hunt. Also the 2 guys on private land my turkey hunting mentors killed 2 monsters. Ill have pics soon. SO I lost the bet and spent the rest of the day planting the garden at the farm and cooked dinner for 12.

I have a super black eagle II and I love the gun but with a pure gold choke it doesnt pattern well at all. I shot it with 2 remington 870 with cheapo full chokes. They patterend better then my SBEII. So I still take my 87 model mossburg out cuss it lays um down and patterns better then any turkey gun ive seen. I just dont have enough cofidence to take the SBEII. Now it will lay some ducks out so i keep it.

Weve killed two birds that live in the swamp land. The tips of there spurs where white like ivry.

My buddys lab does a amazing job finding sheds. All he did was let his dog use them as chew toys from that time it was 8 weeks.

electric smokers with a little apple wood is amazing. I just cant shell at 2grand for one.

What does every one think of the 1648 marsh hunter from tracker? comes with a 23 hd mud buddy? Just getting insight i Like it alot. Its kinda pricey but I like it.

You could have shorted the motor out . I doubt it ruined the battery. I hate to heer it though.

I drove a big camo 98 chevy. At the time i was very proud of it. Looking back i see my dad was right its cool to have but real expensive to build. I finally broke down and sold it.

I use MAx-4 for everything wether im in the swamp botoms or the grass lands. I was leary the first time in the bottoms cuss when I use to use a shaow grass as my blind and camo I would have alot flair as the where coming down. But max 4 I have had great results. Not my camo, boat blind and dog vest is max 4. If im in a true marsh I put grass matss up

Im trying to sell my bassboat and it will work out. My farm has 3 to 4 hundred acreas of flooded timber but we have alot of deer hunters so to keep everyone smiling I dont hunt it as much. I ll be fine though. I got a old suzki spirit 25 with a bent prop if nothing else. Next year I see a 4 man lay out boay with a pro drive

I went scouting sunday afternoon to check out all my water holes and grass flats when the worst thing could happen. I cracked a cylender and threw a rod through the piston in my mercury. So now im screwed. I dont have 3 grand to replace it. I dont know what im going todo.

I know alot are very dissapointed in our newly picked president. I know im not. But do you honestly think he is going to pass nation wide gun bans on our hunting rifles and our handguns? Do you really think he could stop us from hunting. I think your crazy if you do. I might go along with assult rifle ban. But I dont see how he could come get my guns or tell me I cant hunt. I really hate saying this but I feal that a gun would be used towards him if it got to that point. I would hope not but I just think everyone is over reacting about no more guns or ammo jumping to 400 bucks. That is just crazy. We all need to Pray and we all need to see what we can do to keep our rights. Like joining the NRA

Also When I sent my rebates in for my case of hevi shot. I payed $18 bucks a box. $100.00 rebate. I bought 3 cases. Or actully your limited to 1 case so i got my dad borther and me buy them. I couldnt pay full prize for hevi shot.

As for state law yes im good. I live in Alabama. As for how everything is hooked up. I didnt relize it was done that way but thats how it was done so now im dealing with it. A drawing would be perfect im a little slow. As for trenching and digging i have all the equitment so im ready to do it. Thanks guys

I have a trailer with 2 full baths at the farm. Well It has just a 55gal drum as a septic tank that has rusted out and is no longer draining. When we flush, shower, or use the sink it just runs on top of the ground. So I can dig a new hole and drop a new drum in? If so how do i hook it up? Do I drill holes or cut the bottom out of the drum? What size line? I really dont want to dig out the old tank so i was going to cut the line and re-run it to the new tank? Or do i have to put it in the same spot? Im trying to do this cheap as possible. I wasnt really ready for this thing to stop working.
