after three years of trying i finally arrowed one this morning!!!! it was a button buck, came in at 10 yards, perfect double lung, he went 20 yards and pilled up. would of let him grow but it was hard to pass up for my first deer, besides he'll be good eatin!!! pics to come shortly.
went to mohegan sun casino yesterday for the pbr invatational, it was awsome!!!! i would recomend checking one out if it's in your area, it is a great show with great bull riding.
well, i didn't, my buddy did. about 75 yards from where i was, he spinned a doe, then put one through her pumper to finish her quick. it was his first deer, bow or gun, i was just as happy as he was!!!! good luck to all this season!!!!!
sorry for not being clear, it's state land here in ct, no government land. the law here says you can leave stands up all season, but cannot be permanetly attatched to the tree, for ex, with nails or any kind of hardware. you are also supposed to attatch your name and address the stand.
i'm planing on putting up two hang on stands on some public land that really isn't hunted to often. just wondering if anybody has ever had any problems with people messin around with thier stands on public land. i'm still not sure if i'm defenatly going to put them up. your info would help make my decision.
i'm just sitting here on saturday morning watching the fishin' hole like i've done since i was about 4 or 5 years old, and realized it's the last season!!! i'm very upset, i grew up watching this show and always loved it, i'll miss it!!!
