Can anybody tell me how to post pictures. I tried to search and couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: which rifle should i lean towards? I would take the .308 also over the 7mm. I have an encore 308 and love that round. Why are you set on the 7mm?

Re: Are you happy? I am happy so far. I've had a better season this year than last, I shot a nice 8 pointer first day of ml, and two button bucks with the rifle. One of which was this morning. Last year only took a scrub 7 on the first day of ml. I still have little over a week to go.

Re: Help with Thompson Center Encore Vtbowman, the kit you sent me the link to what pound of pull is the kit? I didn't see where it said the poundage. I bought my encore with the hunter trigger kit. I hope that is what they put back. If they don't I will order a kit and try it myself. Sucks that it broke right before season opens. Was really lookin forward to knocking something down with the new gun. I guess there will be plenty of time later.

Re: Help with Thompson Center Encore I took the gun over to the shop where I purchased it from and had him look at for me and it turns out there is a bad spring inside. Kinda sucks but glad there going to take care of it for me. The guy that sold it to me even told me he would give me a loaner to use until mine was ready.

Re: Help with Thompson Center Encore Not sure what is going on at this point. I have tried everything i know possible. Cleaned the firing pin and complete reciever last night and no improvement. I'm going to take it back to the place where I bought it.

Re: Help with Thompson Center Encore I have the newer encore and it doesn't have the switch for rimfire or centerfire. I"ve tried closing the gun pretty hard. I'm starting to think something has broken inside.

I need some help from the TC guys. I purchased an encore with a hb 308. I have shot two boxs of shells through it so far and it shot great. I took it back out today and shot it and first three were good and now the firing pin will not strike the primer hard enough. Looks like now the hammer is not even striking at all. Anybody know whats up?

Those who happen to wound a deer and try there best to find the deer have done there part. I don't want to high jack this post but I have a story from this weekend. I couldn't go out do to work but I told my brother to go hunt with out me and he did. We have a 200 acre farm that about 6 people hunt and he had come back out at dark and was waiting by some hay bails for the other people when one of the other guys girlfriend shoots back his way at a doe. She gut shot the deer and my brother decided to help them find the deer. After three and half hours of tracking her deer in the dark they found the deer. Her boyfriend tells my brother he doesn't want anything to do with the deer. Wouldn't even help my brother drag the deer out so he could take it. Sorry to get of course alittle but the people like this should be the ones who need to give up.

Re: T\\C encore- shockwave I use the shockwaves and I don't have any problems loading them. Do you run a wet patch in between shots? I do a wet and dry patch after every shot. Loads easy every time.

Re: omega setups ??? I shoot 2 50 grain pyrodex pellets and the 250 grain tc shock waves. I can get a 1" group at a 100 yards.

Re: knight rifles are much better then t/c bowtech, Glad you have had good luck with yours. Which model do you have? My brother had a knight and also had problems with it. I'm not sure which model he had but it had the 24" ss barrel. He also had to use the plastic pieces for the primers which we both hated. Got tired of it and he also bought an omega.

Went to my local shop and the first one that i picked up was a tc omega with the thumbhole stock, had to have it. Since then I have also purchased the tc encore as well and I would have to say they are the two best gun purchases I have made.
