i have the bullet from my first deer ever killed. it was with a ML and it smacked the shoulder while try to exit so it wasnt a pass through. found it while dressing it.

i had one and never had any luck with it. thinking of getting a 3d decoy this year. dont know if it will make any difference but they sure do look alot better.

when i was a kid i took a little tae kwon do. it wasnt for very long because of some financial trouble but it was fun.

woo hoo, its almost time fellas. probably gonna do some bird hunting tomorrow morning and deer the evening.

i also use muscle to make jerky and love it. i actually went earlier this week and got a dehydrator from wally world because i never could get it exactly right with the oven. i made my "test batch" yesterday and its already all gone.

hey guys, could anyone in here help me. i got a doe last night and i try to keep the shell and something from every deer i shoot. i was thinking about having the hide tanned so i could hang on the wall but the hide was pretty trashed. anyway i thought about gun leg mounts any know how to do it?

im not gonna lie, i would have shot it and had it mounted but either way great pic

i must admit some may say im a bit camo crazy, i also have some APG i bought earlier this year i used for turkey season and for bow season.

well i bought a remington 700 in 7mm rem mag the other week and going to go shoot it tomorrow. i shot it a couple of times the day after i bought it but now im really going to get it sighted in, i cant wait.

i have the ameristep 2 person chair/blind. not very practical for bow hunting with a long draw and long axle to axle length but it should work great for guns. i have it setup now just waiting on sat for opening day of ML here.

well the other week i bought a zippered hoodie and a set of overalls in realtree AP. well the next mourning i climb into the stand for a short mourning hunt. well as i am sitting their nodding in and out of sleep thinking about this and that and trying to figure out how to take over the world the biggest most monsterous, human killin machine of a bird i have ever seen lands on my lap. well actually it was a cardinal but at the time it seemed like it was a friggin eagle or summin. anyway of course i jump like a cat that gotten its tail smashed by a 500Lb sumu wrestler in a rockin chair. thinking im gonna die because when i come down from the slightly higher alltitude that i was orgianlly safe and secure it wont be into my treestand. well when all was said and done the bird was gone and i managed to hog tie my heart and wrangle it back into my chest i got to thinking, is this realtree really that good or is it strickly coincidence what do you guys think. and needless to say my hunt ended a little earlier than i wanted. just thinking about it gives me the hibbi gibbies

well guys i just bought a new remington 700 in 7mm rem mag. i think this makes gun #10 in less than 1.5 years. is that bad guys? by the way i cant wait to shoot it. and any of you others that shoot this round what are your thoughts on it. thanxs

well guys i totally choked on a easy shot this mourning that i should have been able to make with my eyes closed. well im looking around when all of a sudden when my head is at full turn on the right side their is a shooter doe standing their just staring in my direction. well i must admit it scared "lasts night dinner" out of me so i closed my eyes (i remember someone saying that you shouldnt look a deer in the eyes or they will notice you plus it helps calms my nerves) and then slowly opened one. she is kinda sniffing around being VERY cautious so when i get the chance i get my bow off the ez hanger and stand up, (where she was their was no way to get a shot sitting down) but halfway through the whole removing the bow from the ez hanger she looks in my direction again so their i am looking like a idiot with my bow being held halfway up in the air and my nerves are already shot so my arm is shaking like a middle eastern belly dancer. well i finally get enough time to get the bow drawn and pointed in her direction. when it looks like i finally have a shot i release my arrow send my axis her way and i dont know what happened but i missed her. i dont even remember seeing the arrow in flight or releasing it for that matter. well she goes flying off and im like what the heck so i go look for my arrow and i finally found it but it took a while to locate it so near the end im thinking to myself "did i actually have an arrow in their?" anyway i was just wondering if it would be worth it or productive to hunt the same stand wednesday evening since i scared her off monday mourning. sorry for the rant but i am still a little shaken by the whole experience. this SHOULD have been my first bow deer, and it was also the closest i have ever been to a live deer while hunting. thanxs guys and gals

this evening went much better. i saw 5 deer, a couple of does with lil ones and a smaller buck. maybe moday morn. i will see somthing that i wouldnt mind shooting.

well went out this mourning and it was a disaster. for one i jumped 3 deer as i was walking in, then as i was in my blind i spilt my drink all over me and on top of that the bugs where brutal ( i really need a thermal cell) going out in my climber this evening to see how it goes.

woo hoo 8 hours till im getting up to head out into the woods, good luck to everyone tomorrow. i guess i need to go to sleep b4 i can get up though

here in NC it starts sat. cant wait. ive got a couple of pics on my trail cam but nothing to jump up and down about.

i have never really heard about people turkey hunting in the evening. is it possible and are the chances just as good as mourning? their aren't any time restrictions laws other than hunting hours so has anyone had any luck while hunting evenings and waht kind of strategy did you use? thanxs

Re: Kinda Early But.... im right there with you guys, me and a buddy have almost completed a food plot at one place we hunt and soon i will be starting another one at a different property. Not to mention on my way home from patterning my shotgun for turkey i saw about 7-10 deer out in a feild feeding. They got me fired up real quick. my girlfriend probably thinks i am obsessed with deer hunting, well i guess i am i spend most of my time thinking about it or on here reading about it.
