  1. Sorry Dan, I can't really help you there but I think it is awesome that you are trying what you can to help your gf to get more into hunting. BTW, Ruth, those arrows are very nice.

    KIDS

Yeah, me too. I can remember my mom telling me that one day i'd "pay for my raising", I now know what she meant by that......... There are times I just look at my kids and say, "And what did you THINK would happen if you did that...........??" Hang in there bud, it only gets worse......
  5. A huge congratulations to you both.

  12. Wow, that is a great story. The first time I saw this post I didn't want to read it because it seemed too long. I am glad I came back to it. That guy is lucky to be alive. Looks like I need to at least get a sat phone and a gps. We won't be doing much on the water except fishing on our trip and there are going to be lots of people there. Never hurts to be prepared!!!
  13. How adorable. Those moon chairs are quite comfortable.....lol
  14. A big congratulations to you.
  15. I'll tell you Ruth, I did the same thing you are doing. I got several NCLEX books from the library and went to the back of the chapters and took the tests. I then graded myself and studied up on the areas that I missed questions on. I will say that when I took my boards there were alot of questions pertaining to "which would you do first". Like: A. a 12 year old boy with a closed fracture of the radius. B. an 80 year old woman with abdominal pain. C. a 58 year old man with chest pain D. a 47 year old woman having trouble breathing Of course you would choose D. Always remember your ABC's. Some people might be inclined to answer C, but airway and breathing come before circulation. Don't worry that you are nervous. That is normal. And Ruth, don't let sue happy people keep you from your dream. There are alot more people out there that need caring compassionate nurses than there are people waiting to sue you. Remember your good samaritan laws that protect you. Good luck to you. I have no doubts that you can do it. Catrina
  16. You got that right. Tim is a great guy. That is why he is my BFF! Man, I really need to get out more.......
  17. :DWelcome to the forums Christina. Glad you finally made it.
  18. Our 3 year old loves the bow that shoots foam balls. She likes to aim at my butt (hope I don't get in trouble for saying that). She laughs so hard when she makes contact. Her aim is actually not too bad and she is 3.
  19. Have a wonderful trip Mike. I can't wait to see pics.
  20. Well season ended for me emptyhanded. Had some close calls but still didn't bag a bird. I did have alot of fun though. I have enjoyed our team this year even though I haven't been on here much. Good luck to those of you whose seasons are still open.
