Re: Outfitters? Cabela's has the biggest and best selection that i've seen and their customer service is really good. Their website is very user friendly and you can sign up to get catalogs in the mail. We get a new magazine in the mail abouy every other day.

Re: Ladies doing the field dressing... I have watched my husband (wtnhunt) field dress several deer over the years. Well, last year he decided it was time i learned. I tried and did alot myself on the gutting part. He had to help some. Then he usually does the skinning part and quartering up part. We soak the meat in salt and ice water for several days (changing the water out every day). Then we get in the kitchen together and do the cutting up of steaks, roasts, and grinding, etc.... It doesn't bother me. I am a Registered nurse and i have seen alot grosser things than the inside of a deer. lol... Maybe this year i can do the field dressing all by myself, without any help.. wish me luck. mrswtnhunt

Re: Another off the wall topic...hanging clothes Ours has to face the same direction, also I like my jeans hung on one section, my nursing uniforms together with top and pants on the same hanger, short sleeved together, long sleeved together, etc... sometimes "Mr. William" doesn't do it just right and it gets on my nerves. I think he does it to bug me. Chris, i feel your pain...lmbo

Read this! never tried squirrell hunting. have been tempted during deer season because they make so much noise. have had them climb up the tree my stand is on and scare the crap out of me. Boy, they sure can squeal loud(and so do I). Also can't stand when i am sitting in the stand and here leaves rustling behind me, my heart starts racing, think it is deer, and it is a darn squirrell looking for food. We have ALOT of squirrells around here, might take up the sport sometime just to thin out the population. What do they taste like???
