BTW, I mounted this one, he's hanging in my room, finished him a little while ago, its not a european mount, its one with those kits you can get, ito looks kinda neat, and works pretty well for a hatrack, with all then stickers and kickers

Re: Everyone\'s first buck. TY buckee, we got him 1/2 mile down from the house, he was on the lawn the night before but dad wasnt home so I couldnt shoot, went out the next evening, got grandpas (5x6, has a droptine, ) and then saw mine, ran 3oo yards, called once and let three loose at him lol.

I got mine last year with grandpa's .303, three shells on the second week of rifle season. 17 points redneck count, 13 scorable, three were broken but larger than one inch. Grossed 130 some and netted 117 6/8. Not very big, but it was more proud of him than any record buck I may shoot. Same with my mulie this year, forst mule buck, grossed 110 and netter 104, but boy oh boy was I proud when we brought him in to be scored lol.

Im looking into shooting a new bow, I'm 14, 5'11, and 240 lbs, Im pulling 60 right now, but when I pulled an 80 I was cuttin' bolts and washers, so abotut 70 lbs Im thinking. Ive been bowhunting all this year, but have been target shooting on my own for two years. It will be used for Saskatchewan Whitetails, Mulies, and mabye a moose hunt if I get lucky Any opinions and experiences are appreciated. I liked the Mathew's Switchback XT, what does everyone think?

Re: Team 26 I know hes not a record book animal, but he is even bvetter than that for me. Heres the story: We decided to go looking for some whitetails for the upcoming season, uncle, sheldon andme. We were driving along the fenceline of grassland and stubble, and sheldon started shouting, "Mules, Mules!!!! BUCK! BIIIIG BUCK!!" Well, I almost filled my pants, he was a nice 6x6, but I wanted a non typical, so we decided to cut them off cause there was another 2 bucks in there. I got to a clearing, and saw two mule deer bucks, about 300 yards away. I mouth grunted, they stopped. I picked the taller one, and uncle said, "Hold high about 6 inches over his back, youll get him." Both of my shots went high, so I held almost dead on, and whispered, " Watch this!" I squeezed the trigger, and he fell like a rock! We ran up to him, thought he was dead cause we were poking him, and cut off uncle's buck, got a hold of dad, and got his doe. When we came to load him up about 30 m,ins later, he was gone!!!! He pushed himself almost200 yards using gonly his back legs cause mym shell went therough his front shoulders, I ran atround the bush, lined up a second shot. I squeezed the trigger, he spun. Dad ran over, tried to put another shell into him, but hit the left antler. We ran over there again, and slit the throat. We later aged him at 9 1.2 years, so here's to a great hnting season, and poppin another old mulie buck!!! Hope you enjoyed it. I took these pics with my phone so I had to go to a feriends place to get them onto photobucket, this weekend, Ill get some field pics up. Have a good one

Re: Team 26 Well, folks, add another 12 points on, cause I got my first mulie buck last night, 3x4.... when we were loading him, his right antler snapped in two, but I hve field pics of him before !!!! onna get a bigger whitey yet though!

Re: Team 26 Im here, been hunting lots!!!! Im leaving for a hunting trip on Nov. 2, 3, and 4th. Were coming home that sunday. On the 6th were going on our mulie hunting trip, and on the 20th whitetail rifle opens... gonna nail a monster for y'all!

Re: Team 26 Saw a hog of a whitewtail tonight. He came up to 50 yards, passed up the shot cause I dont feel good with shots that far with a bow. Dad said he would have easily gone 190 B+C. I feel sick to my stomach.... he diddnt see me, so I should be able to get him friday
