Re: Get the shakes? I dont get shook up until after the shot. I think it helps to be sitting down. You dont have the standing in the treestand factor waiting for that buck to get in close. There is nothing like it other than a bugling elk. Just hearing their thunderous gobble as it gets closer. The spitting and drumming when they are really close. And the beautiful color of the fan coming your way. I really dont have anything good to say about turkey hunting. If you think deer hunting is addicting wait till you start chasing long beards. Its awesome!

Re: Iowa Deer Classic I just decided to after reading this post. I went to map quest and found that it was only 6 1/2 hr drive. So my girlfriend and I are going. She didnt even have to think twice when I told her Michael was going to be there. Should be a blast. Have never been to anything like this. Any neccessities that I should bring?

Re: Prices I wouldnt ever get a deer mounted if I had to pay more than $400. Around here the guy we use charges $350. Does awesome work on everything he does.

Re: Walmart Hunting Stuff Buys I only managed to get 2 3 pk of Muzzy 100's. Everything else went quick around here. Take that back I got one of the Ameristep G30 blinds for $59 regular $99. It is nice!

Re: Realtree Roadtrips??????? Well I figure its best not to get to worked up about this. This really doesnt make any sense to me. If people want to say stuff like that is fine but I wouldnt put it on any hunting forum. It is what we all do we "hunt for food" no questions asked. I know that every time I go hunting it is in hopes to kill a monster buck just like everyone else. Just so happens Michael gets to travel the country to some of the best places there are. If you haven't noticed Michael shoots does almost everywhere he goes. He cant possibly eat ever thing he kills but there is a thing called Hunters feeding the hungry that Im sure he gives to. If its not his food hes hunting for it is someone elses.
