i agree with you. its getting bad. i had that happen to me before be we found the man and go them back. now days u have to bult them and have a hiddin camra watching them.

Nice buck. Looks like a 3 1/2 you have some good jeans in your area. and congrats on your buck again.

you would think in low light a solid dark color would work best to in daylight the camo makes you one with the woods and breaks up the solid look.

there could be many reasons, to much of your sent in the area. could be keeping them nocturnal. are they moved bedding areas cause of does or move food they want for the time of year.

ive shot some deer with a ballistic tip but with a 7mm08 the bullet tends to shatter and not mushroom well as others its does really good damage ive always had masive blood trails but im shooting the corloc cause it mushrooms better. people tend to find piece of fragment from the bullet in there meet. my father shoots the 7mm with the bullistic tip still and never had problems. the rifle ur using could be shooting it to fast and it just shatters in the body and no exict. i would switch for sure if u lost two. no reason to loose anymore. good luck man

same here i dont fence hunt. and should always scout out your whole property to know whats going on in the woods all time. the mature deer no everything about it and most will not show up in the open under dark in less crossing a road bedding area to bedding area. i always hunt deep

thermals with under armour cold gear and a wool jacket with camo shirt does the job for me in 20degree weather! hope you find what works well for you. had being in the woods uncomfortable!

Just never give up just always make sure ur exquipment if in good form cause we all know anything can happen. had my bow put up one summer pulled it out to shoot and limb was shatterd. what i find exciting about bow hunting is anything can happen no1 will ever get ever deer thats why its hunting. good luck to you in the future!

ive jumped a nice buck in a bed area one morning around 10:30 and a friend had shot him in the same stop a month later. chance of u seein him a good and theres hot does in the area hes not even thinkin about you all that much. the end of it all he will probly still bed there often. my opinon cause ive had a few jumped on me but never ran them out for good. just have to be careful. i also like to be in my tree or where ever im huntin a least a hour or hour and half before 1st light

yea a buddy of mine switched to the slicktricks cause he lost a buck from both sides not opening. Just dont want to worry about that while in the tree. So i stick to the ones i trust and thats a thunderhead.

I'm shooting the 7mm08 140grain nossler and don't believe I will be buying and other rifle for a long time

I'm acually shooting the remington model seven and it's such a great gun I've had no problems with it I've been shooting it for 4 years now and taken 7 deer with with it. Two of my cousins are using it and my dads good friend owns one but a diff make and it's his favorite gun he owns he's the one who told me about it. I will get with him on the make and get back with you but there's really not much difference just price. It shoots real flat at 200, 300 yards. I'm shooting 140grain nossler with mine and none if my deer went over 50 yards. I'm sure you mite no but it's a 7mm bullet necked down to a 308 casein check in on it. I no you child will like and bet you will take it out your self haha. It's just an all around. Bug game and little game. I no it will be hard for me to go out abd get a new gun. One more thing it does come in a childens stock and u can upgrade but there's really no diffence. It's nice and short easy to move around with but still has the distance you will want.
