Shot this 4 years ago during rifle season when a pck of 3 came through the parture in the river bottoms of South Eastern Oklahoma. Thought it was a big coyote but recently saw some pictures of a red wolf and dug up this picture for a second look. Its was really big, probably close to 50lbs, big for a coyote. What do you think?

It was a lucky shot too! I missed two before I finally connected. Luckily he was young and stupid and didnt know what to do. We first spotted him in the field about 150 yds out and my friend missed a shot at him with the .270 and he ran behind a little draw and we thought surely he was gone. Then about 5 minutes later he came back out roughly 300 yds away from us and my friend took another shot and missed again. The coyote took off towards the tree line on the far side of the field and I took a shot at him on the run and he turned around and ran back towards us then I shot again and he ran back towards the woods. He got about 5yds into the woodline and was about to be gone forever when my buddy barked at him and he stopped and I smoked him. Wasnt our prettiest kill but hey that little dude made a real small target at that distance. We joked that God sent us the dumbest coyote in the area cuz he wanted to give me a sure chance at killin somethin on my only chance to hunt in 12 months lol.

While home on leave from kuwait/iraq a couple weeks ago I got the chance to do some coyote hunting with my buddy and shot this little guy at 400+ yds with my 22-250 (my new longest shot) Its the smallest yote Ive ever seen but look how long his legs are! Does he look weird to anyone else?

Thanks yall. We are starting to move past the "oh no" phase now and are starting to get excited about it. I had a friend text me last night and say "Im buying an Aladin book for your baby" Its still a shock to hear the words "your baby" lol. She went to the doc and got bloodwork done today. Pretty much comfirmed what we already knew except she is 4 to 8 weeks along, we were thinking like 2 or 3. But according to the doc, you have to be at least 4 to get a positive on a home test, I never knew that.

I know it was OSU would throw a pick then OM would run a couple plays then they would throw one. Im always down to watch a good defensive battle but that wasnt good defense it was pathetic offense.

That was a pretty sad game. Extremely boring to watch and zero offense. Neither team deserved to win that one and the final score made it look like Ole Miss played alot better than they really did. Did you see Houston Nutt get Gatoraided though? He look pissed lol, I replayed that over and over.

Oh God it hurts to read that. I will make sure to be extremely drugged up if I ever get em thats for sure.

For the prayers for my uncle. He is healed and in rehab. Should be going home soon. He is a walking miracle. The doctors said the other day that they didnt think he was going to make it, and he wouldnt have had it not been for the prayers.

I have a dell and I like it. I think all of em probably work the same but Im sure some of the computer geeks here can tell you where Im wrong

Thanks guys. Well there are no big changes today but he is still very slowly moving in the right direction. Praise God.

I know how much you all believe in prayer. My uncle, Bill Blankenship, has been on life support for 3 days now. He got pneumonia a couple weeks ago, and being the big, tough, stubborn rancher that he is, he didnt get it takin care of. It reached the point that he told his wife " if you dont take me to the hospital Im gonna die" After 2 days he was flown to OKC and put in a medically induced coma and on a breathing machine. He was/is EXTREMELY critical. They have him in a special bed that rotates him and is supposed to improve patients right away. The doctors said that the fact he hasnt improved is really worrying to to them. His lungs are "rigid" and while they sound clear, the xrays keep getting worse. The doctor today said "Keep praying, its in Gods hands and we need a miracle" Well guess what, WE BELIEVE IN MIRACLES! And since 5pm he has been very slowly improving! With you guys joining your faith with ours, I KNOW he is gonna make it. edit:btw he is 47 and a lifetime hunting/fishing liscense holder

Thats awful. Im so sorry. Im praying that God will give your family peace and carry you through this difficult time.
