  1. SOLD, this ones headed to Australia.
  2. CONGRATS! Good season for me here in Indiana as well. Killed a 131" 10pt., a 134" 9pt, and a 157" 12pt.
  3. You are exactly right, just went to the basement and looked and it is a #3 cam .THANKS
  4. I have a basically brand new Hoyt Vector 32 for sale. This bow is camo, 29" draw, 60-70lb, #3 cam. It has a string loop tied on it, a peep tied in, and a kisser button. I have shot this bow less than 250 times. PERFECT MINT CONDITION. Asking $650 To Your Door. The only reason I am getting rid of this bow is because I get a new one every year.
  5. NOT TO BE...Maybe! Beck Buck Comes in as #2 NT Hunter-taken Whitetail. The scoring procedure has been reviewed and after tine classification was verified this deer scores an amazing 305 7/8. Three tines originally scored as normal were deemed abnormal. On this particular head it took away 2/8 in deductions but when the H4 circumference measurements were taken with the correct classification the circumferences dropped a few inches resulting in a lower net score than the original posted 308 5/8. The final tally on this deer is 222 4/8 gross typical frame 93 7/8 in abnormals, and the reason that this buck’s final score ranks it as the largest non typical whitetail taken in the last decade and the second largest in hunter taken in history is that it only has 10 4/8 of deductions left to right.
  6. I didn't think so either.
  7. This is the buck I killed this past fall and he grossed 157". He had both g4s broke off I would guess around 3" each from the looks of pics. So in this pic he would have been 163".
  8. I had a chance to look at the score sheet tonight and there was a small math error and the score will be 308 5/8. I am a scorer and to look at that sheet, HOLY COW, what an extensive scoresheet. Talk about a jumbeled mess of numbers, gives a guy a headache just looking at it.
  9. No problem Hoosier Hunter. I do agree it didn't look that big in the first pics. I am happy for the hunter and I just hope he talks to someone in the industry before making any decisions. If this guy wants to this buck can be his new job.
  10. Do you realy think every Boone and Crockett animal has to be panel scored? There are many Boone and Crockett animals scored every year and most scorers have no idea when one of these animals is coming to the scorers house to be scored. So should they send the guy home until they arrange a meeting with a few other scorers? That would be darn near impossible. This is why people who are Boone and Crockett scorers go through intense training so that thry are competent in scoring trophy animals and don't need others to help them make decisions.
  11. 319 Gross, check it out on Field and Stream. World Record Buck: This Could Be the Largest Non-Typical Ever Shot By a Hunter | Field & Stream I agree the first pics don't do the deer justice. I also agree nets are for fish and give the buck credit for EVERYTHING he grew, not what someone who started a club said that deer should be. Some of you probably do understand the scoring system I have no doubt, however I think we all agree pictures can make a decent buck look huge and a huge buck look decent. This fortunate hunter obviously didn't take very good pics or has not let them out. I'm not betting on the latter. We should also realize that just becaue a member only has a dozen or so posts doesn't mean that person isn't in the know.
  12. ......PER BOONE AND CROCKETT TODAY......This deer will be "ACCEPTED" within the next week or so and an announcement will be made, then it will be panel scored in 2016 and it will go "OFFICIAL". SHOULD be the #1 whitetail non-typical buck ever killed by a hunter and 3rd largest whitetail non-typical buck in the Boone and Crockett club.
