  1. SOLD, this ones headed to Australia.
  2. CONGRATS! Good season for me here in Indiana as well. Killed a 131" 10pt., a 134" 9pt, and a 157" 12pt.
  3. You are exactly right, just went to the basement and looked and it is a #3 cam .THANKS
  4. I have a basically brand new Hoyt Vector 32 for sale. This bow is camo, 29" draw, 60-70lb, #3 cam. It has a string loop tied on it, a peep tied in, and a kisser button. I have shot this bow less than 250 times. PERFECT MINT CONDITION. Asking $650 To Your Door. The only reason I am getting rid of this bow is because I get a new one every year.
  5. NOT TO BE...Maybe! Beck Buck Comes in as #2 NT Hunter-taken Whitetail. The scoring procedure has been reviewed and after tine classification was verified this deer scores an amazing 305 7/8. Three tines originally scored as normal were deemed abnormal. On this particular head it took away 2/8 in deductions but when the H4 circumference measurements were taken with the correct classification the circumferences dropped a few inches resulting in a lower net score than the original posted 308 5/8. The final tally on this deer is 222 4/8 gross typical frame 93 7/8 in abnormals, and the reason that this buck’s final score ranks it as the largest non typical whitetail taken in the last decade and the second largest in hunter taken in history is that it only has 10 4/8 of deductions left to right.
  6. I didn't think so either.
  7. This is the buck I killed this past fall and he grossed 157". He had both g4s broke off I would guess around 3" each from the looks of pics. So in this pic he would have been 163".
  8. I had a chance to look at the score sheet tonight and there was a small math error and the score will be 308 5/8. I am a scorer and to look at that sheet, HOLY COW, what an extensive scoresheet. Talk about a jumbeled mess of numbers, gives a guy a headache just looking at it.
  9. No problem Hoosier Hunter. I do agree it didn't look that big in the first pics. I am happy for the hunter and I just hope he talks to someone in the industry before making any decisions. If this guy wants to this buck can be his new job.
  10. Do you realy think every Boone and Crockett animal has to be panel scored? There are many Boone and Crockett animals scored every year and most scorers have no idea when one of these animals is coming to the scorers house to be scored. So should they send the guy home until they arrange a meeting with a few other scorers? That would be darn near impossible. This is why people who are Boone and Crockett scorers go through intense training so that thry are competent in scoring trophy animals and don't need others to help them make decisions.
  11. 319 Gross, check it out on Field and Stream. World Record Buck: This Could Be the Largest Non-Typical Ever Shot By a Hunter | Field & Stream I agree the first pics don't do the deer justice. I also agree nets are for fish and give the buck credit for EVERYTHING he grew, not what someone who started a club said that deer should be. Some of you probably do understand the scoring system I have no doubt, however I think we all agree pictures can make a decent buck look huge and a huge buck look decent. This fortunate hunter obviously didn't take very good pics or has not let them out. I'm not betting on the latter. We should also realize that just becaue a member only has a dozen or so posts doesn't mean that person isn't in the know.
  12. ......PER BOONE AND CROCKETT TODAY......This deer will be "ACCEPTED" within the next week or so and an announcement will be made, then it will be panel scored in 2016 and it will go "OFFICIAL". SHOULD be the #1 whitetail non-typical buck ever killed by a hunter and 3rd largest whitetail non-typical buck in the Boone and Crockett club.
  13. HMM! https://www.facebook.com/BooneAndCrockettClub
  14. I agree but the hunter and people closeset to him had NO IDEA just how big this buck was and obviously pics didn't raise a redflag as to this buck being 300".
  15. Now this is a funny statement. For some of you that don't understand deer scoring try and wrap your head around this. Mainbeams 30" and 29", all mass measurements over 5", 24" inside spread, that puts the score of this buck at 123" with no points added in. g1's 13" and 14", g2's 15" and 16." Only 10" side to side difference on the 13point typical frame. I know the first round of pictures did not make this buck look 300" but this last picture on the ANTLERTALK.COM thread shows a little more.
  16. New pictures on ANTLERTALK.COM. one main beam over 30", the other over 29. 24" inside spread and mass measurements all above 5" makes the rack alone score over 123" without any points! 13 point mainframe is very clean side to side with only 10" of deductions meaning 24 points just add to the madness on this big fella! G1's of over 13 and 14 inches. G2's of over 15 and 16 inches. The buck has over 79 inches of non typical points. 37 scorable points total. Guys I know the first set of pics aren't real good and don't do the buck justice. Check out the latest. They will help some of you naysayers understad just what is going on here.
  17. What do you all think this buck will gross?
  18. Check out Mike Hanbacks site out for more info on this new giant. As you will notice, Dean Weimer, who is a very respected deer scorer and an author with many articles written on deer hunting seems to know a little something about this buck to. Mike Hanback: BREAKING: 309" Indiana Buck?

  20. NEW WORLD RECORD!!!!!! This whitetail nets 309 7/8" Non Typical and has been taken in Huntington County Indiana in 2012 with a shotgun. If this score holds it will be the biggest hunter killed deer of ALL TIME. Main beams are 30" and 29", 39 scoreable points. CONGRATS to the hunter. antlertalk.com ? 21. Here are 5 of my 6 biggest.
  22. How bout this? How many years did it take you to get those number of inches? For me it took 11 years to kill 6 bucks over 150".
  23. Thats a good idea. My ages are 4.5, 4.5, 5.5, 5.5, 6.5, 6.5, so my number is 33. I have killed a buck here in Indiana that was more than 8.5 but he isn't one of the scores that makes up my 900. Theres no doubt you have to hunt them where they are. I am fortunate I live in a good area.
