American Idol contestant David Cook was rushed to the hospital Tuesday after experiencing heart palpitations and high blood pressure, and released a few hours later. His condition is still not resolved. According to TMZ.com, Mr. Cook was not feeling well during the day and his condition worsened after his performance. Mr. Cook was examined by show medics who determined his blood pressure was "far too high." Mr. Cook was urged to leave for the hospital during the show, but he wanted to wait it out. After the show, Mr. Cook was driven to the hospital (not by ambulance) and treated by a private doctor. The doctor gave Mr. Cook medication to bring his blood pressure down and he will monitored again. An American Idol exec tells TMZ.com Mr. Cook has been under stress because his brother, who has been sick with cancer, had a setback within the last week. Earlier in the season, just before a performance, Mr. Cook collapsed and said he could not go on — though he pulled it together at the last minute.

Steve- Regardless of what your decision is or will be, you will be sorely missed as a Moderator. To anyone that has considered you an enemy, if you have a problem with Buckee you have got issues way beyond anything we could deal with here. Hopefully you can see the writing on the wall and save the rest of us members the grief of having to deal with you. Please don't go away mad, just go away.

I have to say here and now, David Cook's version of Billie Jean blew me away. That was an extraordinary arrangement and performance and a risk few others would be willing to take in this competition. By far and away, this man took top billing on tonights show.

Have you talked this over with your son? His input would certainly help with my decision. Afterall, your son knows this other boy a lot better than you do. No 14 yr old boy wants to be labeled as a "snitch" or a "Momma's boy" and if you were to press charges, there could be some indirect results that would affect your child a heckuva lot more than getting into qa fight. I personally would consult my son and follow HIS wishes.

This should be an interesting meeting. Wonder if it will be the same message as last year on how were 9million in debt and can't go on. Only to say "ooops', we made a $19 million dollar error in our predictions that left us $10 mil to the good.

I resized my picture to fit the resolution of my screen and it worked fine. I would think 1280 x 960 would be suffice. Small pictures will automatically tile themselvves by default. BTW- I used Irfanview to do the resizing;)

Try soaking em in milk for a few hours if they aren't fresh. Takes a lot of the "fishiness" away.

Scallops are my favorite seafood. You've just convinced me to hit the fish market and grab a couple of pounds of fresh ones!!
