    Moon pics

Very nice. What power lens did you use to get that kind of shot. Whenever I zoom in on the moon like that is just gets blurry.
  2. Look into Colorado. Stay away from Wisconsin like the plague. It is a liberal tax heck state.
  3. Ya those A& W bears get huge... Probably from eating all of those rootbeer floats.
  4. Thats one wicked looking ride. Bet ya can't wait for the warm weather to get here.
  5. Keep em'coming!!! When are you going to publish the best of your best photos in a book?

    Cancer update

Just what we all wanted to hear. I am so glad that they were able to knock that problem out for you. Hopefully it will never ever come back. I'm so glad it was the kind of news you wanted to hear.
  7. Now there are some different critters... Only place I'll ever see those is if I go to the Milwaukee Countuy Zoo.
  8. You gotta' let us know... I agree it is a crummy logo and mos likely something from a school in the area where you work or live, but it would drive me crazy wondering too if I saw them plastered all over all different kinds of cars and trucks.
  9. Smarter than some kide I know. In fact, I don't think even our beloved President could figure that out as he is only "book smart" and probably has never fished a day in his life. I really wonder if he even knows that tossing bead into the water near the shore will bring small fish to the surface. He has absolutly no idea how the real world works.
  10. Answer to the biggest man killer in Africa Alex: "What is a Cape Buffalo." New Question: Unlike most other deer, on this species it is common for both males and females to grow antlers...
  11. Beautiful photo as always Keep em' coming, I always look forward to your photo postings.
  12. Enjoy your trip. I'd like to meet ya, but I'm right along the shores of Lake Michigan, nowhere nere where you will be. As you are well aware, Wisconsin is much more beautiful in the summer and especially in the fall. You need to plan your next trip for October and bring your hunting equipment.

    Barrett Jackson

Love to watch it. I put it on my 72 inch HD TV and it is almost like you are actually there. Man some of those cars are works of art.
  14. VERY Creative!! Dude, seriously you should publish a small coffee table book that is just filled with those. One item on each page done on glossy paper with high quality photography. Trust me they would sell big time!! You just need to make it about 35 to 50 pages and include a wide variety of activities and careers and sports etc... I could see those books literally "Flying" off the shelves...pun intended.
  15. Hi everyone, just got back from a week long business trip to Denver Colorado. What a cool state and a wondergul city. It was sunny ans in the upper 40s and lower 50s which was a very nice break from the Wisconsin winter. Any of you ever been to Denver or Colorado? If you love the outdoors, it is the place for you.

    car guys

I love them but can't afford them At least the real ones, so I have a collection of the small 1/16th scale die cast models of the ones I like best.
  17. Nature is simply amazing Great photos, people who never explore the outdoors and enjoy the beauty of nature are missing out on so much.
  18. Nice. Man, Uncle Ted should compile a book with all of his great and true quotes.
  19. Hi, I'm thinking of replacing my point and shoot 10mp digital camera with an SLR. The reason it my point and shoot does not take clear photos when it is zoomed WAY in on very long distance shots of deer & turkey using the "Optical zoom." Would this problem go away if I bought a SLR that used a regular zoom and not an optical zoom? Would a 18 to 55 mm lens do the trick? or would I need to go with something that has at least a 100 mm zoom? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  20. No surprise there. The mismanagement of our deer herd is criminal. I personally wish they would either close the state to all deer hunting for two seasons, or at least make it so no doe tags are issued for the next two years and the only bucks that would be legal to harvest would have to have a minimum of six points. I know most if not all of you would strongly disagree with me as this would be a bitter bitter pill to swallow. Hey it would really stink for me too as I LOVE deer hunting more than anything else, at least I used to until the last couple of years. Just think how much things would improve if they put my laws into effect.
  21. He is a sucmbag and a liar. Global warming is nothing more than a hoax generated to make evil greedy people very very wealthy. Shame on anyone who still believes in this bunk and willingly lets our Government pass new legislation based on total falicy that will only make it more expensive and more inconvenient fior all of us to live but do absolutely NOTHING to change the climate.
  22. Beautiful Much nicer to enjoy the beauty of snow from indoors, I love the pics.
  23. Like they say... Knowledge is power. I wish more people would educate themselves about things BEFORE they chose to participate, donate or mosst important of all VOTE. We wouldn't have many of the problems we now have if people took the time to get educated first about the possible impact that may results from the decisions thye make. Now you know, don't be afraid to spread the word to all of your friends and families who may not know.
  24. WOW!!! What are the odds of that? Maybe this is going to be a very very lucky year for you.
  25. Yes there are black deer. They are more rare than albinos and piebald deer. I have seen photos of some of them that were all coal black. I bet if you did a google search you could find photos of some. There was even an article in one of my deer hunting magazines a couple of years back with photos included of a young black hunter that shot a black deer. The story focused on the fact that it was very rare for a black deer to be harvested and even more rear to be harvested by a black hunter as the vast majority of people who hunt deer are white.
