  1. I'd be more worried if I didn't feel a little sad.
  2. Thanks guys. Now if his bigger buddies will show up...
  3. If you've got some extra cash, I highly recommend you buy me one too! Seriously now, the idea of invisible IR is appealing to me. Suppose it really is invisible to the deer as well? Critter retinas are set up different than ours and I just don't have a clue. All in all the RC60 looks like a pretty slick camera to me.
  4. He's not a shooter this year but he's working hard to make a good impression.
  5. I've got a couple p41 homebrews - you can't beat them. Picture quality is good, fast trigger, and they last forever.
  6. Sometimes it's just nice to know they are all still out there..........
  7. Thanks guys. This is a Sony s600/Yeti board hombrew. It turns out some decent pics when the lighting is right. This guy won't be around for long. This was taken on a little 27 acre patch adjoining a 700 acre prison preserve and although hunting is well controlled on this property, the adjoining parcels really take a whipping from "overly enthusiastic" hunters.
  8. You've got to figure they're out there but I've never seen one. Nice catch!
  9. My dentist raised a coyote from a pup and it ended up very high strung, skittish and nervous around people. Sure looks like a coyote, maybe a little heavy in the body.....Very interesting............
  10. He's no rock star but he poses really nice.
  11. Does and fawns really ganged up on my cameras last week - this old gal caught my eye.

    Nice Buck

    That's a really nice looking 8.
  13. Now that looks like fun!
  14. Thanks again. A lot of time and a lot more deer to look at before Oct. 1.
  15. Thanks! I was hoping to catch a muley buck or two moving into this draw. They usually show up when the corn around the perimeter gets high enough to provide good approach cover. Oh well...this pic caught my eye.
  16. Thanks again. I'm a long ways away from anywhere along the Kansas/Nebraska border. This guy has already provided a lot of entertainment for me and a couple of hunting buddies and spawned a lot of B.S. ing about whether he ought to be shot this year or not. And a lot can happen in the woods between now and Oct. 1st. And then he's made a couple of daytime appearances........ The consensus so far seems to be that he ought to be left for next year or the year after: but then again, there's nothing like big antlers broadside at 20 yards to help you get to know yourself a little better.
  17. Thanks for the welcome guys. Seems like a nice friendly crew you've got here. Here's a little different angle - he posed for 33 pics this last time he showed up on camera. I think he's a young deer - 3+ or so, but what an attention getter. And he showed up on a little 300 acre patch of state lease ground in the middle of 5 miles of creek bottom ground that I've been hunting for a few years now.
  18. This little guy is about to get unplugged
  19. This is a guy who's been hanging out in a small section of woods for several weeks now. He started out looking kinda scrawney...................
