Hello all I have heard a rumor that a buck shot in Canaan Indiana a couple weeks ago could push the World Record. I was wondering if anybody else had heard this and if anybody has seen a pic

well hopefully when i come home this weekend there will be more action.. I saw just does last weekend hopefully soon they will be starting

I live in Madison Indiana as well and I haven't seen much on the movement aspect of things. I think this weekend the rut has to kick in I know a buddy of mine saw them fighting in Switzco, and I saw a buck running Saturday night right after dark.

I let the arrow fly in a little over a hour I couldn't help myself. One doe down to start the year heading out at 4:30 tomorrow morning

Shot a little doe yesterday 12 yards. I couldn't pass it up being that close and I had never killed a deer on opening day of bow season. I stuck to my guns and shot the first 4 legged creature that walked by. Plus it was the 2nd time I had ever seen the place we had just got permission to hunt this 200 and something acre farm a week ago or so and with school I didn't have a lot of time to get down and scout around.

I would agree 120- 125 score wise and 180s weight wise pretty buck though

I would probably still drop him.. With a bow for sure in a heart beat gun depending on how much season but like i said leaning to the shoot side of things

Basically when your seen it is over stand still and pray that it forgets your there.. it does always seem the ones you don't see see you first

Hey indiana hunters i hunt in jefferson county deer movement has been ok.. I can't wait until nxt saturday which will be the first day i will be able to hunt. I have seen 2 for sure shooters and one maybe.. Also the one i missed last year named whitey who is a hog of a buck bigger than anything i have killed.. i have killed a few decent ones too Good luck to everybody

I agree the Espn lineup has been weak this year. The only ones I consistently watch are Miranda Whitetail Hunting and Realtree. They have repeated like 2 of the last 3 weeks. By the way I DVR them and watch them when i Get out of the tree.
