  1. How do you do the custom settings to the bottom of your threads or replys. Such as the quotes, team logos, web site addresses, etc.?
  2. That sounds like a great hunt. That is an awesome looking fan!
  3. Alternate Hi, Just saw there was an opening for a turkey spot on team. I am in for sure if there is still room. I live in Arkansas and we open up next weekend.
  4. I went to the farm to look for sheds and get all the feeders and cameras out of the woods because they are thinning the timber and the water is coming up. I was driving across a plot/ field to the wood line to go into the woods and get a tri pod feeder about 75 yards in the woods and bout drove over this shed. I thought we were about to rackup on sheds! We walked a bunch of trails and thickets and basically all over and never found another one. What are some pointers????
  5. We were shooting number 2's through Rem 870 pumps.
  6. My uncle showed up with some of those shells Friday morning and he was dropping everything. I shot them Saturday morning and was dropping ducks dead with one shot in the fields (30 yard shots). I will definitely have a case of those to start next season. They are the best shell I have shot that I can remember. I have no idea what the deal with them is, but we killed more ducks and had less cripples Friday and Saturday than we did all year!

    Twins

My brother shot a doe about this time last year in Mississippi by Tunica on the Mississppi River and we found twins in it. It had two babies in seperate clear sacks. They had legs and everything. It was really wierd!
  8. We had several big groups come in early Saturday morning, but when it got later in the morning they would just circle and never drop. They did the same thing all day Sunday. They would come from a 100 yards away cupped and looking like they were going to drop and just get highr at the hole??? It was weird. We were using facemasks and hiding behind trees so I am pretty sure it wasnt us. We tried calling hard, barely, and not at all. Any suggestions????
  9. I live in Arkansas and hunt a 5,000 acre farm on the Arkansas River. We have big bucks, but do not see them a lot. I want to find some sheds this year badly. I have a trough that I am going to wrap chicken wire around to try to get some caught in the wire. I find some every now and then just walking around. We did find a matching set a couple years ago that were from a 160 class 10 point, but that was pure luck. What are some areas to look in the most? Any suggestions you guys have will be great! Some people are telling me they have already seen bucks without horns around here.
  10. It all depends on the hunter and the land that the hunter gets to hunt on. I have friends who have land that I hunt that I really dont think anyone will ever kill a 120 and a 14 - 16 inch 8 point is a great deer. I also have friends who have land that is larger and better managed that dont allow anything under 140 to be taken. I personally consider a monster anything over prob 120 130 but I have also seen deer in the wild that score in the 160s. Basically, I think "monster" varies by hunter. If someone thinks they killed a monster in their opinion, then I agree with them!
  11. Great Buck! That is a shooter here in Arkansas, especially with a muzzleloader. Great Kill!
  12. Where does that fall in the records up there? He is an absolute beast!!
  13. Thanks, Several are just missing one. Definitely not broken and they vary on what side they are missing!
  14. I bet he gets anywhere from 115 to 125 after deductions. It is hard to tell the mass with those pics. He is a great deer regardless!!
  15. I have a question to build off one of the previous questions. We get a lot of pics of decent 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 bucks with only one brow tine. My brother shot a 2 1/2 7 point with a 15 1/2 inch spread last Thursday and the one brow tine just kills the look of it. I have pics of deer in the 1teens that might get 120 if they had both brow tines that were decent. Do we need to shoot these one brow tine deer? Also, what about deer with a fork horn or so on one side and a spike on the other? We have seen a few of them also. Thanks.
  16. It is so hard to see with those pics. I guess around 100 without mass measurements. Maybe 110???? All I could go off was a average of 8 or 9 inch G2 and 3's and low 20 inch main beams and a 4 inch G1 and maybe 17 inch spread??? I could be totally off. Pics and and actually holding them in your hands are night and day when scoring! Great deer regardless... Congrats!
  17. My brother had a really nice buck come in yesterday, but he stopped right before he stepped out of a thicket at about 30 -40 yards. It was definitely the wrong wind for where he came from. He had set off a estrous buck bomb and grunted about 20 minutes before he came up. He said he stopped and stood for a couple seconds and then turned and started trotting off with his head up and then started hopping. He never blew or stomped. I know we have all had this happen before, but what were some of yalls opinions on how to hunt him again, if he is not gone. We have til next Sunday before rifle is over. Thanks guys!
  18. Thanks for posting them better! How did you do that??? White County.
  19. Hey Team, I posted a big 12 point my uncle killed at the farm in the deer hunting forum. I hope everyone is having a good hunting season. The deer have slowed here a bunch. Not seeing much.
  20. My uncle killed this Brute at my Grandads farm with a compound bow! I really suck at this picture shrinking thing. I used PAINT and reduced it to 80%? Any tips on better ways to get the big full pics????
  21. I think this deer is definitely older than 4 1/2 because of sagging belly and sway in his back. I would say he is at least 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 and will score somewhere between 135 - 145. He is a definite mature shooter! Great Luck! I hope you get the chance to take him.
  22. I killed this buck Monday morning chasing a doe.
  23. Arkansas 8 Point Hey Team, I got this 8 point Monday morning chasing a doe. We saw some good nucks this weekend. We videoed two 140 class getting shot. I guess this is 13 more points for the team? How do I shrink the pic? It is saying that it is too large. Thanks, Eric
