I really liked my D40, it took great pics. Never had a problem with it. The flash didnt spook the deer either. I guess somebody else liked it too because they stole it from me. I have since gotten an I40 which I love as well. Yes for that price I would probably buy me two.

OK my friend and I were driving into deer camp. We came across this opening and looked out in the field over the food plot, wellllll we saw a "turkey". Granted we didnt know a thing about turkey hunting, but we just thought we'd see what it would do. We got out the box call and started calling to it. IT MOVED! We were having fun just playing with it but then it just moved around and around. I got to looking at it and I told her to hand me the binoculars. Yep confirmed my suspicion after ten minutes of calling to this "turkey". It was a decoy the guys had set up and didnt let us know about it. Yep felt really blond at the moment.

Hope you have a blast Norm. Me I would probably wait until my daughter was a bit older then try to defy the odds and go either Caribou hunting in Alaska or whitetail in Saskatchewan. I know that I would be in pain either way but the way I see it, is the the Good Lord will watch over me and that the pain just shows me that im still alive.

Weird, it works on both my video recorder and digital recorder. Also I always change out the card too.

You will have to contact the company and they told me that some of the cameras do that for some reason but that there is nothing wrong with it. That happened to me on an I40. Also, you may try going to there website and upload new updates to your camera.

In OK I believe the minimum draw weight is 40lbs. I started out at 45 lbs but Ive moved up to 62 lbs. Just have to build those muscles up.

Take mine off and put within arms reach as well.

What I like about the charger I have is that you can put AA's in it was well as 9 volt. My batteries have lasted well over a year and hold there charge pretty good. It is also get to have rechargeables for you kids toys. My daughter would break me in batteries if I didnt have the rechargeables.

I use the energizer nimh in C's and D's for my game cameras and it has saved me a bundle.

Hope you get better Norm, my prayers are with you. Now for my answer to the question. It makes me feel alive and lets me know that I can still do somethings while other things are not possible. It also gives me the thrill of being outdoors in all of God's glorious wonder. I dont care if I am hurting or not, to me the outdoors in my sanctuary.

Oh yea you know it!!!! LOL I couldnt wait to get home to shave and scratch that dead skin off but as soon as I got home the electricity was out for the night. LOL I was scrubbing by lantern and missed a few spots but its all good now! LOL I know what you mean about the stitches girl! I about hit my doctor with he took the one off my heal.

yea in a walking boot right now. Supposed to get it off on Wednesday but with the swelling and stuff I think he might leave it on a little longer. How are you doing? Everything healing correctly?

OK I get it so it is like the free fishing days in Oklahoma right? I have my lifetime combo so I dont know what days are free or not. Bear< I've still got a question on the whole quota thing. Say one day there is 19 bears from the season that are checked in leaving 1 more for the quota to be filled and 5 hunters go out and 3 shoot a bear. How are they going to know the quota has been reached? Are they called or something? Also what happens to the 2 other hunters that each killed a bear then we over the quota? That whole quota thing confuses me.
