Yeah your right. I misunderstood what he was asking. I thought he was just wondering if they were drawing for an Elk hunt at all.

I do scout and I do know where my birds are at although its hard hunting 6 sometimes 7 different farms. I manage to kill birds. But unless you get lucky and set up where they fly down within gun range it doesnt matter, cuz you wont call them to you very easily if they dont drop down within a reasonable distance. I think the season is about right, maybe one weekend earlier at most. If you think the hunting is hard now, it will be worse if they open it end of March or first of April.

Ahhh anymore all these bows will shoot way more accurate than we can manage to shoot them. If a bow is a few years old and its set up right, it will still shoot just as good.

I agree. He does look like a matue buck. That second buck would be the one I would want IF he gains some tine lenght. But he would have to grow some yet.

Yeah they are drawing a 1000 tags this year. We have some trophy bulls growing down here now.

Yeah but they all have alot of hens with them and you cant get them to budge. With the current season open date the hens are starting to lay so you can catch birds when the hens are gone. I think if they open the season too early then the hunting will be really frustrating for the first couple of weeks.

Yeah ive seen that too. Somehow their foot goes between the top wire and the next one down and when they hit the ground on the other side the wire twists so that the top wire is on the bottom underneath and the other wire is on top. They cant pull it out. Nice pics though.

I know, only three counties are open for it. If i lived in one of those counties I would buy the permit though. It would be a great opportunity to kill a bear in Kentucky.

...Any of you going to hunt bear in the bluegrass state this year? Its pretty neat that we finally have enough bears in the Eastern part of the state to have season even if it is only two days. Just wondered if anyone was gonna try and go after them.

Im kinda in the same boat you are except I havnt decided on a major at all even though I really need to. Im starting my 2nd year of college this fall and I have no idea what I want to major in. I need to figure out something but I dont know what to do.
