sorry i haven't checked in in a while, i have been keeping up on how we are doing though...keep up the good work!!! my luck has not been to good but i am not giving up yet!!! hope everyone is having better luck then i am!

College is going good but my hunting is not. i keep missing my shot but i think i have got myself settled down now. i just need to learn to relax. but besides that i am still enjoying hunting even if i don't see anything i love just being out in the woods..it is so relaxing!!!

This week i missed my 3rd deer with my bow. I have been shooting my bow to see it was me just being a bad shot but i hit the kill zone every time. I have come down to the fact that i need to just relax! I get so excited about seeing the deer that i forget everything i have practiced. How do u calm yourself down before u shot?

Today i got woken up by a phone call from my youngest sister, who was youth hunting, that she got her first deer. She was actually sitting in my stand that earlier i missed a doe with my bow. The buck was a 10-pointer! she was very excited..who wouldn't b.

Today ccwhitey and i went hunting today at the ground i got permission to hunt this summer. On our way to the stand this mourning we busted them off and saw nothing after that:mad: helping us make our desion that the ground is a better afternoon spot. So at 3:30 we got to my stand and again saw nothing..again:mad:. Well on our way back to the truck we had to pass through a small passway between two corn fields and as we were coming to the opening we saw some deer run. ccwhitey got one of them to stop, so i got my bow set and as i pulled back she desided to run. Although i was not able to get my deer today, we now know that my stand is it a bad place, so tommorow we are going to set up a blind and see if my luck gets better:p
