i think if you are planning on doing any elk or bear hunting i personally would go with browning a bolt in the .300wsm or the .325 and dont forget a good scope swik or ziess

i have hunted canada for afew yrs in late non and early dec and it gets real cold i used la cross extreme pft with cabelas primaloft?merino heavyweight woll socks and they have work for me quit well good look hope you get the big one

the price for a 5 day hunt including lodging and food is not to bad were we go. if you like info on the price and who the outfitter is pm me and i will be glad to let you know ,the flt from fl to canada is expensive

steve how would you compare the geese in that area to the flt in canada i hunted geese and mallard up in st walburg canada in sept for the past 10 to 15 yrs and i love it up there but if is half as good in the padukah there no need to go up for geese and ducks only
