    i would go with the etrex Legend HCx for the money. If you can afford an Oregon - go for it - just beware it won't get as good of reception in thick timber or in the mountains

    I'm surprised he put locations of deer taken. I don't think many hunters would be willing to geotag their hunting photos at kill locations. I think it would really be neat. I am going to keep kill locations on my GPS and Google Earth, then maybe when I am older I will make a public map to share the info. Would you guys share your hunting location information now or later in life?
