Leaving a ladder stand up threw out the winter how long should I expect it to last. I have it set up in private land and just a long hike to pack it out. I was considering next spring spraying the stand down with a rubberized undercoating. Hoping that would prevent rust and extend the life of stand for a few more years. Looking for suggestions and ideas thanks.

Target practice not the problem. I believe it was shot placement. The bird was not strutting and was broadside.

I am having trouble killing birds with my bow. Had trouble in the past during the fall seasons. I'm hitting the birds but they are not dying. So this spring I changed broad heads to a rage expandable. Can't recall the name of it but it has over a 2 inch cut and a blunt point on it. I'm aiming at the wing. The arrow went clean threw the bird and he just stood there for about ten seconds then flew. Had lots of breast feathers on the ground as well. Could my problem be to close was at 10 yards. Bow to fast. Or not aiming high enough up on the wing to break it. Any help would be great thanks.

I shot my first coyote last week while deer hunting here in Northern Maine. She actually run up to about 15 yards of me before i stopped her with a kissing sound. She weighted just over 26 lbs and I was wondering what a mature coyote will weight. I am affraid I may also have got and addiction hunting them since with a large number around in my area.
