i have heard not seen but heard of a 400lbs deer shot in the UP of michigan. i dont know where but was wondering if anyone else has gotten wind of this, be really cool to see.

yes it has ive been lucky enough to get to hunt alot and it paid off. now we will see how michigan rifle season and ohio bow hunting ends up to be like.:D I love to hunt.

deff go back and look for a while just to make sure. none of us where there to see the shot. like texan said i a have never seen a deer do a mule kick and not be hit, unless you drop it. i would go check it out again and go from there.

it is not to hard to get a student loan, now when i got mine(in august) the banks were doin fare. the hardest part for me was do the FASFA and all the paper work. i got mine right through the school, and worked very well.

i did not know that you can get two doe tags. i would have got the combo but becasue i did not read the rules good enough, well i cant now. i still dont regret shooting the buck tho.

Ya you are right. I did decide to tag a buck during archery, but i wish i could get a rifle tag also, but cant have it all. Its my fault that i didnt know i couldnt get a rifle tag also, and i am not trying to blame anyone but my self. i should have read the rules a little more carefully but hey oh well. I was fortunate, very fortunate. i am just mad at myself (should have mentioned that above). i would have bought the combo if i would have known. i will plost pics when i can

really i go to northern to. i drive a black dodge diesel with stacks if you see me wave. im not sure what to think. as far as the limits for the combo theyt need to get rid of the combo and put restrictions on the single tag. that is what they are going for bigger bucks right. if i am not mistaken they have done this before. but ya i do think that i am lucky but i did scout for a long time before bow season started and didnt see a deer until this buck came in. i knew he was there becasue of my camera pics, so there was a lot of hard work into him alos. but finding a mature buck like him is tuff to do in michigan.

really. i shouldnt complain because i have shot a buck or more every year but this came at me as a supprise. atleast i got a nice buck. hopefully my buddies get some nice deer this year, they are due.

Because of my stupidness. first snow of the season today and i cant be out in the woods. first because i have class in the morning and at night and because i already shot an 8 point. but what really grinds me about shooting the buck in archery season is that now i cant get an rifle tag. this is crazy. dont get me wrong i would have never passed the buck up any day of the week but you cant get a rifle tag if you shoot a buck during archery season. now come on that is a little extreme dont you think. this rule was changed this year along with the combo buck tag of 3 on one side and 4 on one side. oh well at least i am going to canada on fri, gona have to shoot an even bigger one:p. cant complain to much. will post pics as soon as i get them on my laptop.

i dont know if you wold consider the first a dessert but cinamon rolls or brownies. cant go wrong with either.
