I just got a new big game lounger tree stand from sportman's guide and it is the most comfortable stand ive ever hunted from. I got it for 79 bucks but you have to buy steps to go with it. But, its worth the money

I am trying to get deer to come within bow range of my tree stand. I am looking for cheap feed that will bring them in. I have narrowed it down to corn or a wild game block. was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

you must decide that for yourself by what you shoot best, you also have to take your hunting area in consideration. If you are hunting in the woods where there is some thick brush then 30-30 all the way. but if you are hunting over an open food plot or grain field where you are often met with 200 or greater yard shots,the .270 will definately hold better in that situation. I have always used a .270 but I rarley rifle hunt in the woods

to help with the itch get a hair dryer and hold it over the area till it starts to burn a little. the itch will go away for about 12 hours. this also works for chiggars too.

I just got back this morning from hunting whitetails with my bow. It was a good cool morning and I was seeing a few doe's. I heard a buck grunting behind me around 7:00 and not long after I started hearing footsteps coming toward my stand. The animal is coming around this little bend and I wont be able to see it till its about 10 yards from me, so I stand and come to full draw when I here the steps really close. Im just waiting on this deer to step out around the bend. I see movement and I see that it is a big black angus cow. I put my bow down and sit down again. The cow decides to feed right under my stand for bout 15 minutes and I never seen another deer for the rest of the hunt. The weird thing is there are no farmers that raise cows anywhere near my hunting area. It was a first for me.

the 7.62x51 and the 7.62x54r are very close balistically but the 7.62x54r has much more recoil and will destroy whatever it hits. I have a mosin nagant that shoots the 7.62x54r and a spanish mauser that shoots 7.62x51. The mosin kicks alot more and leaves a huge hole in whatever you hit. The plastic bullets I have seen at gun shows but never knew what they were used for. The look pretty cool

I had one once and mine wouldn't shoot pyrodex pellets with sabots but it would shoot fine with granulated powder and sabots. I also discovered that if you add 10 grains of granulated and then added the pyrodex pellets it worked fine. Sabots shot fine from mine

the bill did not necessarily fail, They are meeting again thursday to revise the bill and then vote on it again. The stock market fell more than ever before because of it. but the stock market dropped substantually before they even voted because everyone was running scared. Its the whole cry wolf thing. The democrats and republicans need to come together and look at an option that will be best for the country and quit fighting the other parties ideas, expecially when it comes to this much money that will effect this many people

You did the right thing if the decoys are on your property and they dont belong to a permissioned hunter then you should remove them. Ive even had people put tree stands on my land without permission. The stands came down and I left a nasty note on the tree if the hunter came back
