hey yall i need some help this is m first time building a elevated box blind i want a 5x5 and going to put it on 16ft 4x4s im going to put it 2 feet in the ground and and go up bout 10 feet for my platform. and top of the 4x4s ill put the roof on. my ? is am i starting of right what kind of lumber wood would i need and how much. how would you guys build yours give me some building plans. hey guys i didnt know were to put this but i have some problems with the people that lease the land behind mine. Tonight i walk back to build a littlw ground blind for gun season next weekend and this guy was up he his climber 2 yards from my property and facing it were i have my scent driper 30 yards from the line and my stand his 40 yards from it. he was basicly hunting over my driper and hunting my property:mad: . what would u guys do i thought about going and talking to the owner but i told the guy im tired of people hunting my property and the next time i catch him ill call the cops but i dont know i even have signs up and down the line he was even hunting across from a sign to.

I shot a nice young 5 point tonight he was out in a the neighbors corn field they just picked and called him in with the buck roar from 100 yards and he came in about 15 yards and shot him in the neck and ran less then 20 yards

here in lower michigan they are strting to chase and there are scrapes all over saw a nice 8 chasing tonight and a 10 chasing to so its started

the early rut is starting heren in lower michigan saw 10 differnet bucks chasing on my property

Im trying to deciede what to buy, what works the best during the rut the horns or the bags. let me know what u guys use or what is the best. Thanks
