Well just to let you know saw on face book last night that the re-election polls right now Obama would lose by a 4-1 Margin. Cash for clunkers makes no sense. You can do it with an Encore also, Just have o be conscious of pressures. Match Grade Machine, and Virgin Valley I still believe make barrels.

I'm not sure how the 7mm WSM performs some say its awesome. If it shoots with my 300 wsm then man you could have a nice rifle there. I got a steal on my 300 wsm, Brand new Rem Model 7, Camo, stainless fluted, Extreme conditions payed 500 for it.

You could have a STW built on a Ruger #1. That would be a sweet little concoction. My 7mm Rem in a savage with some 140 sierras will out shoot most of our varmint rifles. were talking 1/4" MOA to 250 and 300 yards.

I agree there, if you want more than the Rem, you can do the STW that right there is a flat shooting hard hitting son of a gun.

I agree you could let him walk and see what he grows, but if he is a 3 1/2 year old he's going to be puttting those genetics in your herd and then your going to have alot of big 6's walking around. I say smoke him.

The 325 has been a shooter we handload everything so we can tweak to what shoots the best but it will shoot right along with the 300's and 7mm all the way out to 400, The 7mm and the high BC bullets really start to shine then. It does hit hard though.

Yeah I kinda like shooting the big stuff, the harder they hit the better. As far as pics go, I am almost back to Alabama so I am waiting for my little brother to post them. Hes not very computer Savvy and dad doesn't usually keep the targets after he records the numbers.

223 is hard to beat, the 204 however is a shooter and might just push the 223 out to 300 yards.

We took some rifles to the range today looking to get everything sighted in for Colorado in October. Savage Model 14 American Classic 325 WSM- Shooting 200 grain nosler shot a 3 shot clover leaf at 100 yards. Rem Model 7 XCR 300 WSM- Shooting 180 Grain Interlock 3 shot 3/4" at 100 Savage 111 I think 7mm Rem Mag - Shooting 175 Partition just under an inch. TC Encore 300 Win- 180 Interlock shoots pretty much same hole. BLR Takedown 450 Marlin- 325 LeverEvolution, shot this one at 200 was hitting 6 inch steel plate everytime. I think we have enough rifles just not sure which one im going to take. I am going try and get some target pictures up. Have some bigger rifles, They are 2 heavy for Mountain hunting.
