Wisdom teeth are feeling great. Sposed to be 20-30mph winds tomorrow so ill be out on Sunday.

Good luck guys! All 4 wisdom teeth out with no problems... Yet. Stiches in 2 of the teeth. Won't get out tomorrow but ill be out maybe Saturday/Sunday nights.

I would honestly go with Scent Lok full season suit. Perfect for 40 degrees. Quiet, lots of pockets, and perfect for shooting bow.

I have the Scent Lok Full Season Velocity jacket - Great jacket IMO.

It really is a safe haven for deer - It has everything deer need in order to grow big. Food, cover, bedding, and water. Bedding is to the north and in the edge of the south woods. I got these pictures in the SE corner of the propert. Seeing a lot of sign along the corn field edge on the south end. Waiting for it to be chopped for the action to really kick in.

Good luck! Getting all 4 wisdom teeth out tomorrow morning.. Going to be tough to hunt. Might get out Sunday night tho.

Set up a mock scrape last week using Code Blue - Grave Digger Scrape Mate. Never bought anything to make a scrape, etc so I'm basically just experimenting for now. Will let you know the results once I check the cam in a few weeks.

Been out about 5 times for far. Not much movement from the big boys I have on camera - Passed on 3 does, a 4pt, and 6pt so far.

Passed a 4pt and a 6pt. Both came in at 10yds. At least they are moving a bit. Where are the does!

We had a light rain/mist most of the day... Cleared up an hour before dark but nothing showed. In the woods again tonight. Perfect SW wind... Got out a little late but we will see what happens. Awesome job on the doe!

Sittin on the stand tonight. Going to take a doe if I get a chance.

Come on now guys! I didn't want you to post a thread like this. I didn't think an apology was needed or anything. I hope this isn't from what I said... The only reason I said anything is because I really like this forum and the people that post here. I've been here since 2008, and granted I don't post as much as a lot do, I still love this community. You guys know more about Hoyts than I know about any bow out there. Maybe one day when I'm ready for a new bow ill come to you guys!!!

You know I would probably be more inclined toward one bow or the other but I have a Bear Instinct that my dad bought me from the pawn shop. No clue what I would buy if I would get a new one. 370fps on that Mathews tho... That is insane. Almost eliminates the drop the deer does once it hears the bow.

Not trying to start anything I was just mentioning it. We all have our preferences - Just get irritated that no threads follow what oy was started for. Maybe someone could set up Hoyt/Mathews/PSE/etc threads to discuss the specific kinds of bows. That would eliminate the jawing of each other in threads made for other reasons. Again, I know it's in good fun and I'm not trying to start anything. Just an opinion and suggestion. Good luck and shoot straight!

Sorry for the small rant and I know its all in good fun... We know you like Hoyt - But try not to take away from threads by spamming it. He asked for opinions on the new Mathews line, not Hoyt.

Supposed to rain steady for the next few days here - A big cool off with a 30% chance of rain and perfect winds for the land I hunt. I will be out Sunday night, no doubt.

A few 2.5 yr olds in there but I would say most are in the 1.5yr range. Good luck.

Almost every buck on this property has split brow tines - Love the unique feature. The camera is set up on the edge of an unplanted field and it had rained like all get out for a few days - I suspected them to be muddy for that reason. I'm after the last 2. The one is really wide and both of his brow tines are split nicely. That last buck is simply just a monster and would be amazed if he showed himself during daylight (outside of the rut). Earliest he has shown up is 8:08PM... well after shooting light.

I'm currently hunting out of a natural ground blind I made myself. The only issue I have with it is that I think it would be hard to stand up and pull the bow back without the deer noticing you. I had 3 does at 10 yards and they had no idea I was there - But then again I did not stand up and pull the bow back either. I feel they would have busted me had I drawn back. I love the rush of hunting from the ground.

I have a bachelor party this entire weekend so I will not be able to get out. Give the property a little bit of time to settle down after hunting it twice this past weekend.

How is the team doing? Checked out a piece of our property I haven't been on in a while. Lots of buck sign. Getting pumped!

Went out last night but didnt see a thing. Out again this morning and had 3 does at 10 yards. Let em pass this time. Looked like youngins.
