I've used the WB for couple years now. The biggest advantage over a drop away is I dont have to hold the arrow while stalking. Even the fully contained drop aways can let the arrow "bounce" around and make noise. Not to mention the occasional premature drop if I bump the string just right.

So far this late season, I've managed to be in the wrong stand again! All the deer were feeding in the next field over. Couple of nice bucks too . Their patterns are all messed up, even for the late season. Anyways, a couple of pheasants decided to strut by so I decided to take one. First pheasant with a bow. Note to self...use a field point next time. At least I missed the breast meat, so I was happy with the results.

I bought a Bear Gameover this year after my 16yr old PSE accidentally got dropped 20ft from my stand. I absolutely love it! I tried several different bows. The Mattews felt too small. The Parker was nice, but the draw wasn't smooth. The Bear was the only one that was comfortable. The draw was surprisingly smooth, and I shot the tightest group I have ever done with an off-the-shelf 5 minute tune. I couldnt be happier.
