I really like IBM or what they call Lenovo now. get one with Windows 7, Office 2010 package. They have the best tech support out of all the other brands. They sell packages setup more for school use or work use. Just make sure when you do get one get a big enough hard drive and plenty of memory with a wireless N network card. One of the most important things people forget about is the antivirus, make sure you to get a good one.

About 2 weeks ago I was at a local fleamarket and just walked past a booth where this guy was trying to sell a couple of guns. I slowed downed to look and my loving wife told me to come on. Any ways we just got to the next row when we hear a gunshot! The idiot had a loaded pistol and a teenager picked it up and pulled the trigger! Lucky the round went through the roof.

2 yr old female Bloodhound. She can set,stay,lay, figured out how to open all the gates so I had to put a lock on them.And put away the food, she's 125 lbs. She listens to my 6 yr old daughter more than anyone else.

They are all about the same. Look more into Tech Support. I think IBM or Lenovo has better support than most, then DELL is a close second.

I have to deal with both just about everyday for work. I like both but the desktops are easier to work on and upgrade. If the laptop goes down you have to find someone who works on them or send them in for repair and take the risk of having all of your data lost. If you don't plan on taking with you just go with the desktop.
